Very good, recently refurbished. Rooms was spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff were excellent, food was fantastic.
The room service meal was very good and delivered quickly. The suite was a good size. Two TVs so I could watch the news wherever I was. The coffee machine and drinks facilities were fine with a wide choice of good coffees and teas. As always in hotels, there are never enough milk sachets but they did bring more when asked. The shower was very good and the overall cleanliness of the room was excellent.
The phone in the room didn’t work so I had to walk to reception to get anything.
The temperature in the room was quite cold. There is an air con unit but it took several hours to warm the room up.
When going to the rooms, there are several steps to negotiate. I walk with a stick so they weren't a welcome sight. There is a wheelchair lift at the side, but it's a remarkably complex unit. Anyone just wheeling a heavy suitcase will struggle.
Room was fantastic for the price. Breakfast was very nice and being able to charge my EV overnight was a great bonus.

Staircase to room steps dirty and soiled. Carpet looked dirty and worn on stairwell.
Need more choice breakfasts ( ie only had scrambled eggs - need fried and poached eggs choices )
