Homewood Suites by Hilton Tampa-Port Richey

Moving across the country from Arizona to Florida was in itself a big event and while I stayed places along the way I have to say that Hilton was by far the best choice. I was treated like family from the minute I walked into the lobby. The General Manager and the front desk staff are all so professional. My stay lasted 6 weeks while I was purchasing a new house..So I got to know the housekeeping staff and they are very friendly and helpful and work extremely hard. And the food and beverage staff that worked so well together every single day setting up a wonderful breakfast with kindness and care.. I will always recommend this wonderful hotel and it was bittersweet when I had to say goodbye. Sincerely thank you for everything my Hilton family..

Pretty average hotel nothing really called my attention

I love the convenience as it’s very close to relatives that I came to visit.

The ambience

The floors and rooms are super clean. Good rest area with swimming pools and grills zone, big parking, friendly staff

It was clean and quiet!

Staff was amazing and responsive to all requests. Heated pool allowed the kids to swim all day! Wide range of breakfast options.

Property was very nice, probably should have been in a better neighborhood

Clean and comfortable suites at a “very” affordable price. Great pool. Water could flow a bit better in the shower. Customer service was above the norm. Breakfast was a touch better than most hotels. I would definitely book here again, if I come back to Pt Ritchie.

We stood for two weeks in June and were, for the most part, impressed. The hotel counter staff were very attentive and exceptional, ensuring our stay was top-notch. We'd like to point out that Kimmi was simply amazing! Very personal and professional at the same time. The maid/cleaning service was very good, particularly Yasmin. She thoroughly cleaned the room, and you could actually smell the cleanliness. When it wasn't her, it was less desirable. The breakfast was excellent when the regular lady was not on vacation. Her substitute was a bit moody, and things ran out about half an hour into a two-hour window. Breakfast goers had to ask her to refill. Also, the tables were not cleaned well. Let me explain - guests threw out their garbage, but remnants and stickiness were left on the tables. All that being said, the pool and grilling areas were simply beautiful! One pool was heated, one was not - this was perfect though for those super hot days when no more heat was needed. Guests with small children mostly used the heated pool. When the grills ran out of gas due to so many guests grilling, the staff made sure to replace the fuel ASAP.

The friendliness of the staff was incredible. The front desk checks in with you several times during your stay. The continental breakfast is absolutely above and beyond. The food is incredible and the options are endless! Was extremely impressed by this! Thank you. We visited from several hours away for our son's paintball tournament weekend! The pools are amazing aswell! Truly, there is 2 large pools with very different temperatures and a whirlpool; something for everyone!
Our room was very clean and exceeded our expectations by far. The layout of the room was perfect for our family.
If you're looking to adopt a stray kitten or cat this is the place you can have your choice for free....lots of friendly strays in the area .... Come grab yours!
