Amazing overall will stay here again when coming to Tampa clear water area
Pros:

The people are amazing, very clean, am amazing rotating breakfast. Was also amazing to have a heated pool when it was a little chilly at nights but overall amazing for an early spring stay!

Cons:

The bed was a little too firm especially for a multi day stay but everyone is different!

We are in Tampa every March for art show and we already know we won't return to Homewood Suites.
Pros:

We were here for 3 days for an Art show in Tampa and the location was convenient. The room was spacious and the A/C was excellent, however the water never got hot for bathing and neither did the water from the sink.
We asked the maintenance man to check it out and he did but it didn't change anything.

Cons:

No hot water for bathing the 3 days we stayed at the Homewood Suites Port Richey/Tampa.

Le personnel, la responsable hyper désagréable, n’a fait aucun effort pour nous comprendre et parler lentement, la personne la plus désagréable rencontrée durant mes deux semaines aux USA! La chambre n’était pas préparée entièrement , elle nous a claqué les draps et les oreillers sur le comptoir sale sous prétexte que le lit d’appoint des chambres familiales n’était jamais prévu, il manquait aussi des serviettes éponges dans la chambre, les coussins du canapé lit étaient sales et il était inconfortable.

Overall, A Pleasant Stay
Pros:

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The area seemed safe. The room was clean with no off odors as noted by some reviews. Our large king bed suite was equiped with a kitchenette that had a microwave, stovetop, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher and disposal. Sparse but enough dishes, utensils, can opener, toaster, a medium pot and a larger pot. No frying pan. Liquid dish soap was supplied by request. The room also had a breakfast table, desk and sofa. Breakfast had a good array of choices, quality was typical of hotel breakfasts. The room was quiet at night and the beds comfortable. Shower did not get super hot although hot enough. They have a guest laundry, which is nice and we used it. It costs $3 for a wash and $3 for 30 min. of dryer time. It cost me $9 to do one load due to needing more dry time. Laundry detergent is available at a price, but I had some. Note that it takes nearly an hour from this hotel to get to the Tampa down town due to traffic. There is a Walmart Supercenter not too far away for groceries.

It was ok - not spectacular.
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Plenty of space to move around.

Cons:

Very scantly equipped kitchen for a suite.
Hate when the toilet paper is located behind you.
Staff was not very friendly - boarding on rude.
Breakfast was terrible! Cold and so processed. Stayed at a holiday inn a few days later and the breakfast was wonderful there. Homewood suites def needs to up their game for continental breakfast. Certainly not with paying a little more for a room for that meal!

Everyone! I need to give a HUGE Shout Out to Steven Wilson the Operations Manager of Hilton's HomeWood Suites in Port Richey, Florida. He is so professional and accommodating. At first, he moved me to a more spacious room with a lovely view as I was planning an extended stay. Well I got transferred to another facility about 3 wks in as they needed more help. When my refrigerated medication was delivered to Steven's HomeWood Suites I was no longer there! I was so distracted that I forgot to change my address with the pharmacy...really? Yes AND it was over the New Years Holiday. Steven collabed with me and we figured it out.. UPS sent info that it would be delivered this Wed, then delayed to Thurs. I sure don't know what kind of magic Steven has but I got it today Monday. You are truly a Harry Potter in my book! I would most definately stay where ever Steven is as he takes such great care of his guests. Great hire Hilton. Steven is truly the jewel in your crown!
