Un peu déçu
Pros:

L’emplacement est bien, il est central dans la vieille ville, dans une jolie rue d’arcade. Le hall de l’immeuble est sympa avec le petit espace PISCINE.

Cons:

L’hôtel est dans plusieurs bâtiments qui sont eux-mêmes pas jolis, mais l’expérience est décevante quand vous vous retrouvez dans le bâtiment côté rue. Donc insister pour une chambre avec vue piscine.

The staff were very attentive and polite. We were greeted promptly and they were very helpful. We were very impressed with the hotel, its location and its amenities.

Cons:

The only criticism is that breakfast is too expensive on top of the cost of the stay/travel costs. Maybe the choice and selection if the buffet could be minimised and the cost reduced and kept under 20 euros per person.

A good quality hotel in an excellent location for enjoying all that the city has to offer.
Pros:

A good quality room in an excellent location. A perfect platform to explore the city and the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The spa facilities were a nice bonus.

Cons:

I had specifically requested a 1500 hrs check in and that was confirmed by email. When we arrived at 1530 the room still wasn't ready and we didn't actually gain access until 1610 hrs which was disappointing.

A hidden gem in the centre of La Rochelle

I loved how central it was in addition to it being a smaller hotel. The staff were very attentive. The rooms were generous and beautifully furnished.

Uitermate teleurstellende voor hetgeen aangeboden op de site
Pros:

De locatie van het hotel is goed, maar de bereikbaarheid laat te wensen over. Nadat we ongeveer een halfuur hadden rondgereden, hebben we het hotel gebeld. Toen kregen we instructies en een toegangscode waarmee we door de afgesloten straten konden rijden.

Bij binnenkomst maakt het hotel een goede eerste indruk en ook de receptie voldoet aan de verwachtingen. Het buitenterrein en de buitenzijde van het hotel zijn echter duidelijk van mindere kwaliteit en zouden gebaat zijn bij een grondige opknapbeurt en beter onderhoud.

Cons:

Ons verblijf was uitermate teleurstellend. De parkeergelegenheid is veel te beperkt voor het aantal gasten en het hotel is bovendien slecht en moeilijk bereikbaar.

Wij hadden een Prestige Suite geboekt, maar deze benaming bleek de lading absoluut niet te dekken. Hoewel het bed in orde was, liet de rest van de suite ernstig te wensen over. De zitruimte was ver beneden peil en zowel het comfort als de afwerking voldeden totaal niet aan wat je van een suite in deze categorie mag verwachten.

De doucheruimte was ronduit onacceptabel. Tijdens het douchen liep het water buiten de douche over de vloer en delen van de wand brokkelden af. De gehele suite miste iedere vorm van sfeer en design. Ook de algemene afwerking, tot en met het schilderwerk, was zeer slecht en kwam amateuristisch over.

Gezien de prijs en de verwachtingen die de term “Prestige Suite” oproept, was dit verblijf een grote teleurstelling. De geboden kwaliteit en het comfort stonden absoluut niet in verhouding tot de presentatie en prijs.
Bij vertrek onze ervaring gedeeld met de receptie en die hadden er wel beeld bij. De jongen aan de receptie wilde nog een tegemoetkoming doen maar omdat we via booking.com hadden geboekt was dat niet direct te regelen.
