Reception staff unpleasant/rude seemed to be very stressed, including management which hindered their service unfortunately, the way the manager spoke to me was very condersending at times and I beleive I was always pleasant.
Everything was amazing apart from beds not very comfortable..staff were lovely very helpful.great location aswell

Everything was great with the hotel, the room was great, clean, tidy, comfy, very good in general. I didn't eat or anything there but it was a lovely hotel for the price.
The staff were unpleasant on reception. When I arrived, which was the day after I had made my booking start date from (I was delayed and didn't get there untik 11am the morning after, I had updated the hotel and had a response, I specificly said I MAY not get there the day of my booking, but may still be able to), the receptionist was confused as it was befoee 3pm check in, which is fine but when I explained she implied my room may not be ready which is odd, as it should have been ready sine the day before as per my booking (I had paid for that night). She was just generally unpleasant overall. Then I wanted to extend my stay, I tried to speak to reception about this and they said to come back on the day of check out and they "should" have availability, they had availability then so this was strange to say, I booked it online in the end because I felt like I was annoying the receptionist. When I tried to ask of I would be in the same room I was told they wouldn't know until the day of my previous check out date, not even the evening or night before which would be fine if I had not tried multiple times to find out what was happening. Having to pack everything up and leave at 11am to come back at 3pm was fine, if I had to move rooms but seemed a waste of everyone's time if I didn't need to but it just felt like any contact with reception was as though I had interrupted something really important or was an alien.
It was the same when I accidentally left my card in the light thing in my room, which I am sure happens a lot (as a person who worked reception many years ago, this was the number 1 reason a current guest would come to reception and I am sure that hasn't changed. I was just told ok. No offer to get another key, I had to ask twice as the receptionist or manager probably as she was not in uniform, seemed utterly lost at what to do or ask me.

I stayed at the hotel to help a family member out of a difficult situation. The staff went above and beyond to help us in particular Sara and Mel. I would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful
Staff were lovely
Tv was smashed in our room didn’t find out till we turned it on. Luckily we didn’t want the tv on but for others it may of been an issue.
