I like that it is such a good location just off the motorway.
I like it is good value for money.
I seem to always get a room furthest away from the lift. I wonder if it's because I had a puppy with me.
I thought £10 per night for the dog was steep. I stayed 10 nights, so £100 extra.
Overall experience was very good. Substantial breakfast.
Had problems with our keycard had to get it re-done 3 times. We did not keep with our phones or any other items.

The beginning of the stay and tidiness of rooms when first entered
Staff accused me of smoking in the room and without clarification, called the police, two officers turned up requested me to pack my bags without any privacy and escorted out of the hotel. Very humiliating, inconsiderate and unfair treatment. The leave was forced during the last day and one night was still open to stay.
location and staff were excellent
Have stayed previously and it's still a clean, well run and a great place to stay. Staff are really good and I have always been well looked after. Ibis Styles Barnsley are very lucky to have such a professional group of people working for them.
Liked everything.
However - please put back the liners in the bins in the bathrooms.
Shouldn't expect your cleaning staff to have to delve into others personal waste... Just not healthy for them!!
Germs travel and I think a wobbly health and safety issue for you staff!!!

Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable bed. Quiet despite close proximity to traffic. Staff were very helpful.

Room 106. No air conditioning we opened window but was above machinery below so very noisy plus traffic noise.

The beds were confortable, room was nice and clean in most parts apart from under the bed, friendly staff, close to Barnsley and Peak District destinations.
Our dog was very welcome in that hotel and our daughter loved the room and the pool table downstairs even if it needs a bit if updating.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. There were choices but not all products were of good quality. We found a small stone in our cereals which was off putting.
The prices at the hotel's restaurant were too high and the quality not so great apart from the pizza thay was great!
Sometimes, it was difficult to find a member of staff available but when we did they were all very polite and helpful.
Friendly helpful staff. Clean room containing everything I needed. Location is good just off the motorway, perfect for what I needed and a Toby carvery right next door.
Cups for the tea and coffee are very very small... Are we on rations?
Too noisy at night time with people walking and running up and down the corridor and banging doors at midnight. It woke me up and I had to put my loops (earplugs in).
