Cons:

Noise from the pool. Shuttle onle 4 times a day when leaving.
I opened the door to the verandah. wheels hardly left and no track. I could not get the door to lock.
Maintenance like this should be done. I see 5 star rating. More like 3 star.

pleasant stay
Pros:

hotel location was great and the staff were very helpful and attentive, breakfast was good, good value for money. The pool area was lovely and close access to beach, restaurants, pubs and shopping

Staff at the pool bar were amazing.

Cons:

I booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child that included breakfast. On arrival we were told our room would be available at 2pm. We were able to get into our room at around 330. The room did not accommodate bedding for a child and we were told that we needed to pay an additional $50 for a bed. When discussing this with reception I was told I had booked 3 for breakfast but not 3 for the room. We paid the $50 as it was our last night but will be following this up.

The concierge on arrival was exceptional! So friendly and welcoming and made a point of touching base with us , particularly our sick son, during our stay.
Staff all around were very friendly. There was also a medic on site to tend to our son who was sick when we arrived.

Cons:

We had booked 2 rooms and hoped to check in early (1:30pm... 30 minutes early) as our son was very unwell with high fever and needed somewhere cool to rest. I was told rooms were not available yet. 2pm came and still our rooms were not available. 2:30pm we were given one room but our 2nd was still not ready. It was after 3pm when our 2nd room was given to us. It was very stressful as they were not helping despite our situation (our done was on IV drip by this stage). When my wife went to our 2nd room there was only a king size bed despite me booking for 2 adults and 3 children, 12-17yo. I questioned why we only had enough beds for 4 people and I was told the "children" can just share one big bed! We argued for some time as anyone would expect 5 beds for 5 people but I was told if I didn't want them to share 1 bed between 3 I should have asked for another bed.
In the end they charged me another 550000rp for a trundle bed which should have been there in the first place.
Terrible check in experience. We weren't the only ones in our travel group to have this problem either.

Rooms have seen very little maintenance. Lighting was not working properly, only had YouTube on the TV no ordinary channels,couldn't charge room service to your room unless you left money at reception, was invaded by ants,they had to fill holes in floor to stop them .
