High theft risk area — be fully aware before booking
Pros:

I’m writing this so future guests can be better informed when evaluating their options.

During our stay, our car window was smashed overnight in the hotel parking lot and items were stolen. We were not the only ones affected—another car in the same parking lot had parts of the vehicle stolen as well. I understand this is a broader issue in the area—not something unique to this property, the hotel does have signage stating they are not responsible.

I was quite impressed on how normalized this situation seems to be. There are multiple warnings, including from the police, essentially telling you that if you leave anything in your car, you may lose it. That reflects a recurring problem in this area, not an isolated situation.

I hope more affected guests share their experiences so the hotel recognizes the importance of the situation and considers making a more meaningful effort to provide a safer environment. “We are not responsible” is definitely the easy way out, and if that is the position the hotel chooses to take, future guests should at least be fully aware of the reality of the area and decide accordingly.

Super San Antonio Stay!!!
Pros:

Met up with family to enjoy Spring Break time together. This is a lovely (and clean) property!!! Wren and Jared at the front desk took G R E A T care of us the entire stay. They are pleasant and professional reps for Hilton!!! We love DoubleTrees!!!

Great Attentive Staff
Pros:

Simple convenient doubletree- comfortable, clean, and great staff. If it were up to Leslie, Jimena, and Maria... it would be a 5 star review. Unfortunately the management seems to be lacking as the service seemed to be short staffed at times that were incredibly busy (dining). also, the wifi was down for 2 days including TV entertainment services which affected my trip quite a bit.
Shout out to Leslie, Maria, and Jimena- thanks for a lovely and hospitable experience!

Great location and clean room
Pros:

Very quiet nice comfortable room and clean, maybe bathroom floor could be cleaner

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower is not good, water barely comes out
