Terrible stay, room smelled terrible, hotel needs major renovations
Pros:

Staff was friendly and willing to help. Location is close to bald Head Island ferry.

Cons:

The first room we walked into had a terrible urine smell. We noticed as soon as we opened the door. We immediately left the room and went down to talk to front desk. The lady at the front desk was kind and took us into another room. The second room had mold, you could definitely smell it. We decided to just try to sleep through the night as it was very late and we had to be up early the next day. We initially had reserved this hotel for two nights, but checked out first thing the next morning.

Convenient location

Cons:

No one at the desk when we arrived 6:00pm. I had to call the hotel phone to get someone to come to the desk so I could check in. Room smelled like cat urine. Shower was so dirty I didn’t use it (shower walls dirty, large stain in floor of tub that looked like fecal matter). Didn’t notice the bathroom condition until it was too late to ask for a room change.

The location was great.

Cons:

My room had ants. They were near the microwave oven. I killed as many as possible. Thankfully nowhere else in the room. The toilet would keep running unless you jiggle the handle. I have stayed at hotels for less money that were better.

It was tolerable.
Pros:

First day breakfast was good. Second day no bread, how do you run out of bread?

Cons:

The rollin shower is trecerous. It does not drain correctly, floods the bathroom, with no mats it is like trying to walk on ice. The rooms need updated, painted, things fixed

Musty smell in room
Pros:

Friendly Staff. Location to everything from dining to sight seeing.

Cons:

Ant's in the room,musty mildew smell in the room and humidity control,wet damp room and musty sweaty smell on a pillow,dirty floor

In light of the above things listed, it was not that good.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. And most of the staff were friendly. The parking was in a good location to the hotel "walking distance-wise. from the car."

Cons:

No trash removed---had to bag it and move it myself; no shower towels for each dad---had to go get them; not enough toilet paper---none for the last full day; had to buy our own kleenex, etc.

Overall we had a great time and would stay again in the future if we have an opportunity.
Pros:

I did not think the Breakfast met the standards usually found at Wyndham. Maybe they were short of help. The location was Good.

Cons:

We had Ants in our room. We reported this at checkout and they said pest control was due that day and they would make sure it was checked out.
