Very dirty
Pros:

Absolutely filthy. Fridge, bed, floors, bath. Worn, dirty moldy. I couldn’t breathe.

good place within short distance of beaches, waterfront

had to keep asking for two washclothes. All of the rest of the towels were provided by housekeeping when they cleaned.

We were on the 3rd floor elevator broke No advanced notice! No vending machines just ice! Really! Some of gym equipment broken!
Not really quiet doors const sounded lime being slammed
Cleaning staff was very nice! No sign on Howe Rd where to turn! No arrows pointing to where stairs were had to ask cuz no elevator. Really expected more from this hotel chain! Disappointed Rarely Seen clerk at desk in our several trios in and out! No asking of any excursions we might be taking no offers or suggestions just disappointing

Not very pleasant!

After driving 4 hours to get there, I was informed that the elevator was out of service!!
We had to use the stairs to get to our room. The handicapped room did not have a walk in shower or a chair height commode. Rails were installed but it was still difficult for me since I have mobility issues. The room was clean but the beds weren’t very comfortable. The breakfast selection was good!

Off season three day getaway in sleepy Southport
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, we were in good hands. The elevator is under repair, and if all those people complaining about that would just shut up and accept a part has been ordered and is on the way, the better.

We had ordered a king size bed. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she immediately found us one on the ground floor - cleaning it herself, so we would not have to wait long.

It was fine. But could have been much better for the cost.

Cons:

Breakfast was very average. I'm not expecting a lot, but it was a somewhat subpar.
Our room was not cleaned on our second day. I was told they empty the trash and refresh the towels on the weekend, but this we not the case.

Good location comfy & clean
Pros:

We had a ground floor so bonus for us as parked car right out the front of our room, clean comfy bed pillows & decent breaky. Only had 1 night but highly recommend for the price & not drive to downtown & river walk.

I wish I slept in my car instead
Cons:

Rude night clerk, no AC control, hot and musty in room, washcloths/towels in very poor condition, uncomfortable mattress, 4 tiny pillows instead of normal bed pillows, shower leaves water all over floor, reused shampoo/conditioner between visitors, spotlight in front of building glares through windows all night, rust on light fixtures, loud noise constantly coming from vents
