Diplomatic Hotel

We had an excellent stay and experience at the Diplomatic Hotel. Beautiful decor, comfortable room and consistently professional service throughout. Most of the staff speaks English which makes it easier for English speaking travelers for us.

The hotel is very centrally located - walking distance to great restaurants and shops and is a common pickup and drop-off point for wine tours, which made exploring the region incredibly easy.

A refined, well-located luxury hotel and a great base for experiencing Mendoza. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay. Our room was 1406, which is a corner room with 2 big windows overlooking the mountains. It was very large, clean and bright. Breakfast was good. The staff was superb. We asked for bath robes and they were in the room before we got there. Central position, walking to great restaurants, a lot of gelato places. Highly recommended and yes, we will chose this hotel if will ever be back in Mendoza

Location is superb, very clean and welcoming. Service is great! Room was nice and spacious.
I would probably I would have appreciated more variety at breakfast.

Ubicado en el centro de la ciudad de Mendoza, cerca de buenos restaurantes e ideal para visitar las mejores bodegas y disfrutar de los mejores vinos de la región.

Nice hotel, great location. A little hit pricy but nothing to complain.

While classically elegant, I would say that the property is a bit dated and would benefit from a more updated accommodations.

The hotel was nicely appointed, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a fair amount of street noise, but rooms on the back were pretty quiet. The breakfast was typical for Argentina. There are several restaurants and shops just around the corner, and it's close to the center of town.

Everything was excellent in the Diplomatic.
The breakfast was exceptional.
My only complaint is that they did not have an Iron or iron table for the room.

You arrive late and tired, then have to download an app to open your room with no option given to avoid this step. QR codes on everything which are aggravated by the spotty WiFi. Hotel decor is a bit tired but still comfortable with a decent breakfast. But the so-called “environmentally friendly” aspects overwhelm an otherwise good experience.

Lovely hotel, excellent and convenient location, comfortable room and bed, easy walk to the main square and many nearby restaurants (including 2 Michelin recommended). Beautiful, large outside pool, too. Good breakfast with many choices, free daily glass of wine that we enjoyed late afternoon on the patio.

Lovely luxury hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean & crisp. Staff was helpful and friendly. Morning breakfast had a good variety of options. Location was right in the middle of festive activities and very walkable. AC kept the nights comfortable.

Large hotel with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms were large but felt very sterile and cold. Staff were pleasant breakfast was a large buffet Nothing stood out to make it special and it felt a bit pretentious. Aldo smell in lobby was unpleasant
