Stay was great just an all around great place
Pros:

We loved this hotel the paint scheme in the room was so unique, we could walk to every place staff was great just an all around great place to stay we plan on staying there the next time we’re in the area .

Walk is further away from beach then what was advertised also room very small and dirty signs of water damage and had moldy smell to it bath room had crack tile and shower heads was not working well elevator way to small barley fit cart into it also most importantly the have an roach infestation

Was not aware that all rooms at this place are owned by individuals and they pay a fee for Pelican Point to service their guests. ALL OF THEM BUT THIS ONE.(219) Frank, the owner does not. It wasn't stated in the Booking.com listing nor was I told by him when I spoke with him before we arrived.. We only found out when I asked for a roll of toilet paper and was told "we don't service that room"
So I asked the owner, Frank, about towels. He told me I had to "wash my own".
He also assured me that the room was "private and quiet" IT IS NOT. There is a maintenance/housekeeping room right next to it. People coming and going all day.
On occasion, couldn't get in or out of the room because of carts, etc in our way.
Was awakened at 6:30 one morning by the trash truck emptying the dumpster, which was right outside the window..
The room is poorly maintained. The tub was clogged before we got there. Completely fills up when you take a shower.
I spoke with Franks associate about some kind, ANY kind of resolution. All I got from the conversation was he didn't care that we were unhappy, he had his money.
We left after 3 of our 6 nights and got a room across the street. So the room sat empty for 3 days. During that time, I went and checked the room since I am responsible for it. Twice, someone had been in the room. Leaving the door unlocked one of those times. And it was any type of maintenance as the tub was still clogged when I checked the last day.
Overall, this is THE WORST hotel experience I have ever had.
This room would have been fine for me and my army buddies on a weekend pass, but this was the wife and I on vacation.

Pros:

The room itself was very clean and had a small kitchenette which was a bonus. The pool area was also clean and tidy. Location to restaurants, shops and the beach were excellent.

Cons:

The hotel was an older building with the corridors and stairwells in need of some refurbishment.

Pros:

Great location—just a short walk to the beach! The staff is very friendly and responds promptly to requests. I also appreciated having plates, cups, and other kitchen essentials in the room. I would definitely stay here again! Also very clean.
