Great little place to stay
Pros:

Enjoyed our 8 night stay. Room was nice and pool area was great. The daily breakfast was good, but options were limited. Location is perfect, within easy walking distance to everything. Highly recommended.

One of the loveliest places to stay ever!
Pros:

Absolutely loved this place - peaceful place to chill. Super friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Beautifully decorated and with a pool perfect for swimming which hardly gets busy as there’s only 12 rooms. If we go back to Bali would definitely go back just for the vibes as well as central location.

God location, close to beach.
Pros:

Enjoyed my stay, lovely room, very clean. Had a minor issue with the safe and air on, but very quickly rectified. Lovely surrounds. Only downside was a noisy quest late at night in the pool area.
Close to beach, restaurants, shops etc. very quiet street. Will stay again.

Good value
Pros:

The property is lovely - nice mix of modern and Balinese. Breakfast was tasty. Standard room is very pretty and spacious, only negative is that it smells moldy.

Lovely, but some minor quibbles.
Pros:

Delightful hotel with beautiful wood floors, verandah and pool. Small number of rooms and lovely common lounge in reception area and also a small library. Pity glass on room windows rather than flywire as all the windows also have soild wooden shutters - so one needs to have everything open to get good air circulation. It has A/C but that feels wasteful of power and not environmentally friendly. Stayed 6 nights and would consider staying again. Being slugged 200,000 rupiah on our last day for accidently breaking a small hand soap dispenser on first day - like the plastic ones but glass (a tad dangerous) left a sour note. Was thinking would love to stay again but now not so sure. I know it is a business - I run one myself but seemed a bit 'mean' to me.

Pros:

Shabby chic and lovely. It's not luxury but doesn't pretend to be, location is perfect.
My only recommendation would be to include some mosquito coils in the bedrooms.
Would return in a heartbeat.

Convenient and clean hotel
Pros:

Very nice hotel, with a wonderful relaxing area. Unfortunately our room was outside the main building and very noisy at night, so we couldn't sleep very well. But the rooms inside seem very nice too so i would recommend to choose one of them when booking. Staff very kind and helpful

Stunning, but beware of creepy crawlers
Pros:

Small, but stunning. However, some of the basics need tweaking. When I arrived, there was no drinking water provided in my room and the tv was not working. Once raised, things were rectified immediately and with a smile. Moreover, the safe in my room was not working and as a previous guest had walked away with the key, I was not able to use it throughout my stay. This would not have been a problem as such, had I not come back one day to find my room unlocked with a key left presumably by the maid on the door and with all my valuables in the room. When I mentioned it to the reception, they simply took the key back and put it in a jar in the lobby. All could be excused, given the friendliness of the staff, until my penultimate night when two cockroaches and a rat decided to pay me a visit at 1am! When I ran to the reception shaking from the encounter, the night manager seemed unphased, went to check the room himself and came back holding a dead cockroach in his hand, telling me there was nothing there anymore and I could just go back to sleep! It was only when I threatened that I would sleep in the lobby that I was offered another room. Bottom line: This is a very tastefully decorated little hotel with a stunning garden. Although I understand how hard it is to keep creepy crawlers out particularly in such climates, more could be done in terms of pest control or simply in terms of filling gaps underneath doors or window frames. Beautiful, but not for the faint hearted.

Pros:

This was a good place to stay in a great location. My room was beautifully appointed and clean. The pool is really nice to relax by.

I didn't have breakfast included with my stay, but from what I saw of it you'd be better going to one of the nearby cafes (I went to a great one called Juice Park on the beach a couple of times).

The downsides were that the staff did not speak the best English. I would advise against using the laundry service - all my white clothing was returned to me blue! When I informed the staff they were not apologetic, one lady even questioned if I was telling the truth?! It was an annoying part of my holiday.

On the day I was due to leave the receptionist confirmed that she would book a taxi to the airport for me. I came out with all my luggage at 10pm to no taxi and no one at the desk. I left my keys with a random boy that walked in, not sure if he was staff but he said he was... Not the best exit impression.

Overall a nice place but the staff need some customer service training.

A GREAT STAY THERE!
Pros:

I was surprised at the size of the rooms when I arrived! It was spacious and beautiful. The staff at the villa were friendly to us. There is also a pool for us to swim. Sufficient comfortable sofas around the villa for us to take a rest and the villa was uniquely decorated. The only thing I wish it could be improved would probably be the sound of the geckos in the night. It was quite noisy at night.

Really peaceful Villa in Seminyak
Pros:

Villa Karisa was ideal. A really quiet location but still in the heart of Seminyak. It's a really beautiful property with a large garden and swimming pool and areas to sit and read a book etc. The rooms are big and open with comfortable beds. The staff are really friendly and helpful as well as being really good fun! It has such a relaxed feeling. About 3 mins from the beach on a moped.
