Grand Hilarium Hotel

I had a pleasant stay at Grand Hilarium Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is in a convenient location, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast had a good variety and was a great way to start the day. Overall, it was a comfortable stay

The hotel and rooms were excellent but the bar and restaurant staff while being polite were inexperienced and poorly trained. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the restaurant service in the evening was terrible. The standard of food was equivalent to a cheap takeaway cafe. The staff simply did not understand what the meals consisted of. While the presentation of the hotel suggests 5 star, the reality is only 2-3 star.

Overall Hotel was good. Nice cozy rooms but i think its somewhat old hotel. Bathroom was clean but a bit small. Breakfast was average.People in reception are very nice and polite. We stayed there for 3 days in october.For that price and location its acceptable.

Where to start, it’s a long story. International city and staff doesn’t speak English at all, I mean even receptionist doesn’t understand simple words. Street vendors have better English than them, at 20 Degrees they have turned heating on. Rooms are boiling hot 🥵. Can not even breathe in room rather than sleep. Room condition is worse, breakfast terrible choices. No body understands a single word you saying. Worse Place to stay in such a beautiful city.

It would have been more appropriate if the hotel was rated as 2 or 3-star hotel instead of 4-start on the Orbitz website. there were broken/cracked furniture, bathroom sink, rusted door frames around the building. The bar area was used as storage filled with boxes and bags and old furniture. The breakfast was very good though and the location appeared to be safe but in a very busy and crowded part of the city. the staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept clean daily.

This hotel should not be rated 4 star
It should be 3* The bathroom are very dirty looking, breakfast is the same very day basic, towels are browsing looking not white and bed sheets was not charged for five days of stay. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend.

We didn't like the Hotel. It was too cold in the room. The rooms doesn't smell good. The breakfast was okay. This hotel ist not worth 4 star. It is maximum 3 star. We wouldn't recommend this hotel!

Im very regretting to stay in this hotel, condition staff are very terrible, bathroom very small stuff not talking nicely, only good about this hotel is restaurant and stuff in the restaurant very nice specially the chef

Das Badezimmer riecht sehr schlecht und ist im Zimmer zu spüren. Die Duschkabine ist alt. Ich habe dort nicht geduscht. Es hat sich überhaupt nicht gelohnt. Das Frühstück war gewöhnlich.

Overall the stay was fine other than the cleaners coming way too early or not cleaning at all. The breakfast was ok not much of a range for a turkish hotel. The location is very busy at times and there are plenty of food places.

There is no way this hotel ever had 4 stars, it is a no-star budget hotel in a noisy street, the room had a kettle but no glasses or coffee or anything to use with the kettle. Half the furniture was falling apart.
The rooms are cramped and old.

The continental breakfast is basic but adequate, their soup was quite good.

It's fine if you need nothing more than a place to sleep.

Dirty hotel. I do not recommend bad treatment. It deserves only one star. Hot room. The air conditioning system does not work

This is the worst hotel you can stay in. Staff were rude and totally unfriendly, the breakfast is non-existent, one day there were no plates and cups and the waiters just shrugged their shoulders, the indoor pool was freezing, the staff in the pool area complained of children making noise as there were massages taking place in other rooms, whilst the staff were laughing and on the phones talking loudly. there was smoke permeating through the rooms, the baclony, as advertised didn't exist. the disabled chair at the entrance was not working so we had to carry our disabled daughter up and down the stairs, the lifts were not level with the main floors when getting in/out, the bathrooms were mouldy, the rooms were very dark, stay away from this s*~t hotel.

It wasnt upto the mark not at all what i saw on internet. There was no complementry tea or coffee i had to purchase it even a water bottle. The area is noisy & toilet wasnt cleaned properly.
