Decent place, but check-in was egregiously late
Pros:

I loved the location. The bed was successful and the room was clean.

Cons:

I think they were totally booked, so when I arrived to check-in (at my pre-designated time), they didn’t have a room ready for me. That was 4pm. I had to wait until 7:41pm before a room was ready!

I recognize that there were issues with staffing housekeeping services in order to get the rooms ready for other guests, and I understand that having late check-outs is also a factor - but come on, folks. This felt like when planes overbook flights and ask people to take a different flight (through no one’s fault except the airline), except that those passengers get compensated. The lovely front desk people gave me a 10% off coupon for breakfast, which was nice, but for 3.5 hours late for check in, I was actually thinking breakfast should be entirely complimentary (perhaps this is unreasonable of me, since I’ve never had this happen before).

Everyone who worked there was amazing, by the way. They all were dealing with the delays in checking people in like champs.

Exceptional
Pros:

Loved the location. Super close to the venue we were going to. Room and hotel were nice and clean. The staff was wonderful. They set up a happy birthday sign and hung it on the door with balloons and decorations for my daughter. Just a real treat! Thank you guys!

Cons:

How smokey the casino was but its a casino. Not a big deal!

Drove 45 minutes out of my way to go to the buffet on Friday, March 13
Says on their website buffet is open till 9 o’clock. I get there at 8:29 and they have it roped off. Ask employee what the deal was as he basically toldme they’re not accepting any more customer and I said there’s still 30 minutes to go and they said that the line is moving so slow that they had to rope it off. There’s only like 10 people in the line was still 31 minutes ago.
Absolutely horrible customer service
Apparently, they just hire anybody off the street
If I were you, I’d check out other casinos

Howard Johnson of Casino Hotels-Never Again
Pros:

This place is the Howard Johnson of casino hotels, absolutely horrible. It wasn’t always so bad but has definitely gone downhill over the years. I was raised in Omaha and it was a place to go years ago. The Buffett used to be one of the best. I moved away years ago and just went back to visit. Let me tell you….they only have the Buffett Fri-Sun. The 2 little restaurants that are they have crazy hours and don’t even provide room service. They had no luggage carts when I arrived and I had to go hunt them down on the hotel floors. No wheelchairs for disabled people to get from the desk to the hotel (it’s a decent walk from point A to point B if you’re walking challenged like my mom). Housekeeping is by request 24 hours in advance. The rooms are bare bones minimum furnishings and it needs an update into the 20th century. No valet and the parking lot is not nowhere near the entrance, add to that trucks and heavy company equipment driven by hotel guests parked all Willy-nilly anyway across the parking lot making it difficult to find a parking spot that isn’t towards the back of the casino lot. The no valet again….what casino do you go to that is a decent size without valet.
I was so disappointed with the hotel experience that I refused to give my money to the casino, lost interest.
This was such a disappointment and waste of good money, never again!

Nice way to relax portion of a day
Pros:

Usually stop in couple times month to eat lunch and make few sports bets
Also spend little time on gaming floor nice place to get away to every now and again

Overall I would give it a C+. They staff was great. Room was nice but one of the beds was hard.
