Friendly welcome after journey. Stayed for five nights. Very spacious room. Extremely clean and excellent housekeeping. Great location for strolling into the city and exploring. Great little grocery shop nearby with late opening hours. Happy to recommend or re-visit.

Given the attractiveness of San Sebastian, prices for most hotels are a little above my range. but the Zinema7 met all of my requirements and did not break the bank. But lets be clear, the rooms are very nice and spacious. I felt this was a hotel I would stay at again.

This is a characterful and wonderful hotel in a great location. You know all that if you’re reading this but if you’ve driven here in your (super)car will it fit in the garage?

Almost certainly. However the spaces available are far fewer than rooms. Parking can be reserved if you book via the hotel website ONLY. If the option to reserve a space is not showing then they are probably full be you need to contact them and check.

The garage is accessed from the quiet street the hotel reception is in. See pictures. You can cross the maybe 10cm kerb maximum at an angle for even the lowest car (GT3 RS?). Our Aston Martin Vanquish S is low clearance and managed the kerb with ease.

The parking is on level - 4 and is accessed down a wide smooth ramp. We did ground out a little in places but it was not prohibitive to access level -4. There are no kerbs at all so wheel damage is almost impossible.

On - 4 there are some big spaces and some less so. No where is impossible to park but bigger, wider cars will need care if the parking is full.

This was one of the better Hotel parking experiences we had in Spain and I would park our Aston Martin here again.

There was, as a side note, a VW T5 camper easily parked up as a height guide.

This was our third time staying at zinema and we were touched that they sent us a little welcome back gift. We’ve spent equal if not more £ at other hotels on multiple stays and they never remember or care to say ‘welcome back!’ So that was a lovely touch. The car park is a great extra that we’ve used every time we’ve stayed. Staff are lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble. Love our stays at zinema 7

Zinema 7 is a good quality clean hotel just out of the city centre (but with an easy bus to Old Town which takes 7 - 10 minutes - stop right outside). Each room is based on a film star or producer, and is suitably quirky. Breakfast is excellent and the bar doubles as a cafeteria used by many locals so prices are reasonable. Would strongly recommend as a base for exploring San Sebastián

The drive down to this area was a culmination of a chance stay in San Sebastián and the idea to indulge ourselves in the city and its culture that being its difference and culture. The food places didn’t disappoint, well we didn’t go wrong . We tried the Instagram places but these were rammed so moved on although went into these in January but it was to busy this time . It’s a walking place so we just parked in an underground carpark close to the hotel and left it for a few days and used our feet .
The hotel does have a car park and it say parking on trip advisor but it has to be reserved. It seems like it’s busy so make sure you reserve a spot with the hotel if it’s required and it does seem like there’s 3xcars to a parking space .
The staff at the hotel were warm , welcoming and polite. Room was a first floor room and a bit noisy but tolerable ( was a commeration on for the sacking of the city , napoleon wars )so may have been this and it was very clean. It’s a mile and half to the town centre, so about 25minute but there’s a few bars coffee stops along the way so not that bad

The hotel was very walkable to the city centre and the old town. However, it is also in front of a bus stop that takes you to the best food spots in town. Christian and Myriam at the front desk were welcoming and amazing. They shared great restaurant recommendations. The rooms are spacious and clean. The cafe downstairs has a great tortilla de patatas and service. Would a 100% stay here again.

VERY clean, spacious common areas and room. We walked to town twice a day and averaged about 16,000 steps, great for us!

Good location. 20 min walk to just about everything. 10 min walk to train. Helpful staff, very clean, quiet and comfortable

This review concerns a 4-star hotel, where one naturally expects high standards of service. The facilities and room quality were fairly good. The bedding was not particularly remarkable. There was no interesting view from the room window. We also had some trouble adjusting the water temperature in the shower. The staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast was decent.

Zinema7 hotel was a genuine experience during our stay in San Sebastian. Interior design is so elegant full of cinematic themes. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Small treats they gave us after checking in the room was delightful. Our bed was so comfortable and rooms are spacius enough. Breakfast was also very varied and delicious. Location is a bit far from city center but there are bus stops right across the hotel and you can find a bus every 5 minutes so it is not a big deal. All around, I strongly recommend Zinema7 hotel.

Service was good. Cafe snacks-restaurant downstairs is good.
Breakfast was OK but can feel crowded and too noisy. Fair value breakfast.
We had a premium room which was spacious, well furnished, good internet and had good sound insulation from neighboring rooms. The only drawbacks : only a small window, no kettle and a bed which is very firm (you can ask for a mattress topper, which helps a tiny little bit, i.e. from extra firm to firm). Location is fairly good, easy buses (just tap your credit card) to city centre every few minutes. A few basic shops/cafes close by.
Aircon worked well and was fairly discreet by hotel standard. but was just really on/off- adjusting the temperature had little or no effect, i.e. about 22 to 23 C.
Note: street facing rooms - you'll hear a little bit of traffic noise but will have have a decent outlook. Courtyard rooms: can't hear any outside noise. but you really have nothing to look at at except some fairly ugly building.

Good hotel about 30 minutes walk to the city centre (old and new town). You can get a bus just across the road into the city centre and this information was volunteered at check-in and was greatly appreciated; you pay on the bus. The walk was doable but a challenge if a hot day. On-site parking was arranged in advance and is safe undergound parking but it does cost 22 euros per day but you don't really have a choice in such a busy city.
Room was a little small but adequate for our needs with enough storage space for 3 nights. A mini bar/fridge and tea & coffee making facilities were included. Good space in the bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Didn't take breakfast at the hotel as a couple of bakeries close by that were adequate for our needs.

Wonderful hotel. Most comfortable bed. Bathroom well laid out and spacious with plenty of surface area for toiletries etc. Excellent bar/restaurant with food available all day until late.Buses to centre outside the door.

I was pretty disappointed with our stay at Zinema7. First of all, the beds are rock hard - I mean ROCK HARD. My partner and I like a firm mattress, but their mattress was unbearable. We found ourselves tossing and turning all night. Second, the one useful piece of strength training exercise equipment (cable machine) has cables that are severely frayed, and is downright dangerous to be using. Third, the hotel does not offer any kind of complementary coffee without paying for a full breakfast (ridiculous). Fourth, and most important, we found the service quality to be severely lacking. With exception of a kind young gentleman who was working the graveyeard shift, we found the staff to be quite rude and unhelpful. When we would ask for restaurants open on a Monday, the response was "none are open". That's obviously not the case. When asking again about restaurants on a different day, one staffer told us to "go to old town". Hmm, not the service level you expect from a "4-Star" property. To be honest, although visually the property is well-kept, the underlining service and quality leaves a lot to be desired. I would not return the next time I'm in San Sebastian.

This was such a modern looking hotel and very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We thorougly enjoyed our stay and the free snacks (almonds and fruit snacks!)! The breakfast was great too and I was happy to be able to request a made-to-order omelette. Thank you so much for making this such an enjoyable stay.

I booked this hotel back in May using their early booking promotion, which offered a 10% discount. At the time, the rate was non-refundable and non-cancellable, something I accepted in good faith as a trade-off for booking early. However, just before my stay, I noticed the hotel had increased their promotion to 25% off. I reached out to politely ask if they would consider honoring the new discount or applying a credit, given that I had booked well in advance.

Unfortunately, the hotel refused without any consideration for my position. I was told flatly that the booking was final. When I followed up with a phone call, the person I spoke to was shockingly rude, again denying my request with no willingness to listen or engage in a conversation. They simply hung up, a response I find completely unacceptable.

This experience has left a very bad impression, even before my stay. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a hotel punish guests for booking early and show no interest in customer satisfaction. If you advertise early booking benefits, those who commit early should not be penalized for it. The lack of flexibility and poor customer service make it clear that this establishment is more interested in rigid policies than in treating guests fairly. I’m now forced to stay due to the non-refundable policy, but I would not recommend doing business with this hotel.

The cinema is movie-themed - our room was Jacqueline Bisset, with lots of filmography on the wall - and there's an impressive array of Oscar winners in the breakfast room.
We had a comfortable 2-night stay, and all amenities were of a high standard.
The location is good too, with regular buses to the town centre and within walking distance of the Amara train station.

Zinema7 is a good hotel. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. It has a prking with direct access to hotel, which is very practical. The staff is welcoming and helpful.
