Lovely Hotel with Lovely Staff - Need a Car to Explore the Region
Pros:

Everything. This is a well appointed, extremely clean and relaxing hotel with quality food, staff and services. The room was large and comfortable with a minibar, flat screen tv and aircon and appears newly renovated. Parking was secure. The hotel has modern facilities and a lovely rooftop. We stayed here for the eclipse. Check in and check out were easy. My husband and I worked using the hotel wifi and the facilities for working available (a room dedicated to coworking). We found the staff really friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent. We used free passes for the local pool in the village and enjoyed the aircon in our room. We would stay here again.

Cons:

The village of Botarell is very small so a car is essential as this is a good base for exploring other parts of the region - the route of genius (Gaudi, Pau Casals, Miro, Picasso), Parc Sama, Montbrio Spa Termal. The villagers do not seem accustomed to foreigners or tourists so the welcome is not that warm beyond the lovely staff at the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel Warm & Welcoming
Pros:

Perfect welcome from Uni and all the staff. Spotlessly clean & comfortable room. Great facilities including the fantastic Spa . Dinner was delicious a d breakfast fit for a king . All in all a great place to stay.

Cons:

It is a bit isolated with not much going on in the village. But fantastic all the same.
