Cons:

There was brown water coming from the bathtub one evening, which made us feel very uncomfortable, and the windows were not noiseproof. You can hear all the loud noise coming from the street.

A lovely little hotel and served its purpose - great location with access to some fantastic bars!
Pros:

I loved the location as this particular area is really vibrant and fun. there are some beautiful restaurants and bars, where our whole party (families with teenagers) felt safe and secure. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it's right above a beautiful little shopping area - supermarket, health & wellness, Liquor Store etc.

Cons:

There was a lot of noice coming from the street side of the building. So if you can - get an apartment high - so that you can get the view and look out over the sea - not towards Lion Rock.

Exceptional Business Stay - Outstanding Service
Pros:

I had an exceptional business stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were warm, professional and always willing to assist. The room was spotless, comfortable and provided a great example to work and relax. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep - no noise - ensuring a restful night's sleep.

The hotel's location is convenient and central. I highly recommend the hotel to both business and leisure travellers. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay enjoyable.

Great hotel in Sea Point - both for leisure and business
Pros:

The New Kings Hotel is a great option for holidays or business travel. The rooms are spacious, clean and depending on your view - you enjoy the mountain or the sea! The staff are helpful and friendly, and the Zest Restaurant's food is top notch - you need to make a reservation to avoid disappointment though. They are popular.

No issues
Pros:

Stayed here as part of a tour group so had no choice in the hotel. They were really quick in getting our group checked in- the room was clean, spacious with both a batch and a shower & plenty of storage space

It’s location is a strange one - just a block back from the sea front, over a Woolworths & Spar along with a couple of other shops, but this wasn’t an issue for us - especially as we had the choice of a few different restaurants nearby

We did eat one night in the Zest Restaurant which is in the same building, not part of the hotel, but guests do take breakfast here. Evening meal was superb with great service. Breakfast was a little disappointing in choice and also lack of hot water to make a cup of tea ( was only tepid) Even so there was something we could eat and this would not stop us staying at the hotel again
