2nd year running staying at this beautiful Hotel. Will be returning at the end of Oct 26 for 3 wks with family.
What a wonderful place to stay and a fabulous Location.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, staff are attentive, warm & welcoming, great food, beautiful rooms and good facilities. The owner and his family go out of there way to ensure your stay is enjoyable, hence returning 3rd year running ☀️🇧🇧
We had a great time at Beach View. Located in an ideal area, everything was easily walkable or within a short cab ride. Service was great, the people were exceedingly friendly and the food was good. Plenty of choice in terms of pools with a great beach (Paynes Bay) a short walk away. The area around Beach View contains everything you'd want, including the best restaurants, small shops, a fish market, bars, etc. (even a close gas station if needed.) With a small scope and car rental right on site it has everything you need.
We had over 40 guests stay for wedding for the week. Absolutely everything from cleanliness, staff, food, help with transports, pools, grounds, location was flawless! Highly recommend!
A gem of a hotel. Large airy rooms with great facilities in the room. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This is our third stay and we wouldn't choose any other hotel.
Well how on earth can I explain as to what an amazing hotel this is. Where do I start? This is the first time on the island and pray it will not be the last. I came with daughter, son in law and 2 grandsons aged 17 & 13, for a family wedding.my beloved nephew, who lost his mummy 3 yrs ago to cancer. He is marrying a BAJAN girl, whose family all live on the island. (The wedding, well that story will have to be for another time).
This hotel is what hospitality is all about. Love, care, kindness, SERVICE, cleanliness are all over & above 5* standards (in many so called 5* hotels you don’t get this). Let’s start properly:
The location is pretty cool and perfect for whatever and wherever you want to visit .
We had a 3bed 2 bathroom classic suite, more spacious than my own flat! The kitchen had bagels, water, tea/coffee . Beach towels, toiletries ! You name it the room facilities had it! Look and learn hotels and B&B’s in the UK! Look & learn.
Housekeeping was EVERY DAY!
A fabulous balcony which suited me as, as much as I like the sun I can’t sit in it, and as the balcony looked over the pool it was perfect .
Meals ( if you don’t want to go out) are great at the on site Sugar Apple restaurant ! Oh the angels there are amazing, will be sad to say goodbye to those girls.
Reception is like going to see friends.
We had (well I did) with the toaster, central fan light and bedroom side light! It’s was all sorted before I had left the reception and this was on our first Sunday! They dealt with it on a Sunday! Immediately!
One suggestion: get an ATM machine in the reception area. I did not feel comfortable & have trouble walking to the local petrol station. Fine for youngsters. Just an added bonus if there was one on site.
Come to Barbados, come to beach view. And like me you won’t want to leave 💕💕
Returning to Barbados after 18 years was something we had dreamed about for a long time, so a lot of thought and planning went into choosing where to stay — and wow, did Beach View deliver.
From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. Our fantastic 2-bedroom suite was perfect for our family. Being able to stay together with our sons, Max & Harry, made such a difference — no knocking on another hotel room door trying to wake them up every morning! The suite was spotless, spacious, and had breathtaking views overlooking the pool, the sea, and of course those unforgettable Barbados sunsets each evening.
We visited in May, which turned out to be absolutely ideal — peaceful, relaxing, and exactly the kind of laid-back holiday we needed.
What truly made this holiday special though was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with guidance, tips, and recommendations on places to visit. When our TV stopped working, it was replaced within the hour — now that’s service!
One of the things we loved most was the relaxed atmosphere around the pool. No rushing down at sunrise to reserve sunbeds — there was always space to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
We stayed room only, which worked perfectly for us. Getting to the supermarket was just a quick bus ride away, and having the local fish market directly across the road was an added bonus. Fresh tuna and mahi mahi became regular favourites, and our son created some beautiful dishes during our stay.
being directly across the road was another huge plus. The boys loved swimming and snorkelling there every day.
For football fans, Wendy's Sports Bar was nearby for watching the matches.
If you want a touch of luxury, QP Bistro across the road is beautiful, while Golden Anchor gave us that authentic local Bajan vibe we absolutely loved.
There is so much to see and do in Barbados, but honestly, one of the best feelings every day was returning back to Beach View — to the peace, the stunning surroundings, and the genuine kindness of the staff. Even the in-house pub was a lovely added bonus.
This was our first visit to Beach View… but it definitely won’t be our last.
Thank you for making our holiday so special.
Lots of love,
Clive, Kally, Max & Harry ❤️
The rooms, the pools, and the staff were amazing! A very peaceful atmosphere, great for a retreat.
The view wasn’t quite a “Beach View” as you can’t see a beach from the hotel so it felt misquoted.
Spacious, clean, great staff.
Limited dining menu
My husband & I and two adult daughters stayed at Beach View for two weeks April/May 2026. Our apartment was spacious and well maintained and equipped which all added to the feeling of well being and relaxation that we felt during our stay. The apartment was cleaned daily also. All the staff at Beach View, Robin, owner and his staff were courteous and helpful.
Beach View also a coffee and basic food shop (The Shack) you can also buy snacks and sandwiches here. There is also a restaurant.
We had no issues with noise during our stay and overall we considered that Beach View gave us value for money.
Beach View is very close to Paynes Bay and Holetown. Holetown is well worth exploring especially the Chattel Houses, (craft shops) as well as other retail outlets.
Beach View is convenient base to explore the Island, a car is useful.
We can highly recommend a stay at Beach View should you wish a self catering holiday in Barbados.
Staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
Swimming pools were also very nice and not crowded.
Our third visit to the excellent Beach View. We love the relaxed atmosphere, easy access to beaches and a nice selection of local restaurants within walking distance.
The local buses are great value at $3.50 BBD and so easy to get up and down the coast.
We rarely go back to the same places but have already booked Beach View again for December and so it is easy to recommend.
Everything. Cannot fault it. Already planning our next trip.
Nothing
Just back from a 10 night stay ! Hotel is excellent, location, pool areas, food, staff and cleanliness is great !
Beautiful hotel, in an excellent location on the west coast. Second stay at Beach View, and as good as ever. Stayed in a classic suite, overlooking the main pool with sea views, which was ideal for the family.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, and excellent customer service. A couple of minor issues with the room were resolved promptly. Restaurant and The Hut provide good options for food and drink on site, as well as the staff making recommendations and bookings for other places off site. Also provide chairs, umbrellas and cool boxes for the beach.
We used their recommended wedding planner, Island Bliss, for our special day, and everything went to plan. Beach View kindly left a bottle of bubbly for us to mark the occasion, which was a very pleasant surprise.
Highly recommend Beach View for a great place to stay.
Amazing serviced villa in complex with 4 pools, restaurant, shop, snack bar and veg lady who came twice a week with fresh fruit and veg
Amazing coral reef across road from hotel, best we saw on island.
Nothing
Second visit to Beach View and again we were not disappointed.
We contacted reception prior to our visit with our room request, taxi collection and grocery pack and these were all as requested.
They have pretty much thought of everything you could need during your stay, even down to providing beach towels and grocery bags.
The new pirate pub is a great addition to the property and an ideal place to meet other guests is you wanted to.
As before the place was spotlessly clean, the hut did great iced coffees, all staff were very friendly.
Ideal location just across the road from the beach, yes you need to cross the road to get to the beach but the motorists are great and always stopped to let us across.
Beach view provide beach chairs and cool boxes to take to the beach but we visited the lady by the Fish Market who rents out loungers, cushions , table and parasol for $20 a day, she was a totally lovely woman who could not do enough for us.
We will definitely be returning again in the future. The hotel is ideally located for great restaurants in walking distance or a quick trip on the Reggae bus.
Don’t hesitate to book.
Outstanding overall. Location, staff, amenities,,,,our home away from home 2 months a year.
We loved how luxurious and spacious the apartments were, also spotlessly clean. Luxury toiletries were a treat and so much better environmentally than mini plastic ones. Well equipped kitchen including full size cooker and dishwasher. Easy to use the buses- need cash. Holetown 10 minutes, there is a good Massy supermarket there. We walked north from the hotel, about 15 minutes to the main part of Paynes Bay (google maps shows the access path) We were able to snorkel saw loads of fish and turtles. You can borrow beach chairs from behind The Hut. Road is noisy but didn't intrude. Loved watching the sunset each evening.
