Ok location but there’s better
Pros:

Location close to the airport

Cons:

Windows cant be opened, so you turn on the AC. But the AC makes so much noise that sleep is impossible.
Only the bedroom has a window. The other room with the tv and sofa doesn’t, it’s like living in a coffin.

Underrated. Great hotel
Pros:

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Norfolk Airport. The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient with several nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros:

I thought the coffee was weak. I wanted a make your own omelet option. They were out of yogurt. I did like hot beverages were offered 24 hours but needed better coffee.

Pros:

The room is clean and spacious

Cons:

The shower was cold, was told they keep water temperature at 74 degrees. That is ridiculous especially in the winter. I shouldn't have to take a cold shower then go out into the cold. Makes no sense the manager argue me down

This place was absolute crap that I do not recommend to anyone.

Nothing really, this place is garbage. Room 316

Cons:

No towels in at the pool. The handicap assist into the pool (that the hotels site is so proud to post in their photos) is non-functional and nearly completely rusted out. The reception told us at check in that breakfast was served until 11 but when we arrived before 11 it was closed. The AC went out in the room at about 9:30pm; the staff did offer to move rooms, but when you've just got a 2yo to sleep then moving at that point is an absurdity. The AC was being repaired as we were packing to leave the hotel... JUST IN TIME! (middle finger emoji). The shower (this is an ADA accessible room) had the shower head in a way that only sprayed out of the shower. There were some 'modification holes' that were drilled into the once adjustable fixture that I was able to shove a plastic fork into so that my children could shower. The room did not come with any linens for the pull out sofa. There was no coffee for the coffee maker. The ice machine was inoperable on my floor, and several other floors, but if you are adventurous as we were you can find one that works, at least as of December 2025, by 2026 the rest may have also died out idk. There were two elevators, but only one that worked, and took an average of 10min to call the one working elevator.
