Better than i expected!
Pros:

The staff was amazing! The front desk clerk Erick was phenomenal. He went out if his way to make the stay great for everyone! I would recommend and definitely stay again. Also, the beds were heavenly.

Cons:

Our stay wasn't long enough!

I was a bit sad the pancake machine was out of service though.

Great stay for great value!

Superb Customer Service and the room was great too!!
Pros:

We recently experienced a house fire and, in the middle of that trauma, finding a place to stay became another unexpected battle. Every other hotel we contacted gave us the blues — long explanations, no flexibility, no compassion. But not the Holiday Inn Express.

From the moment we connected with Matlyn, everything shifted. She helped us in more ways than one and made sure we got a room when we truly needed it. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile made an overwhelming situation feel manageable.

Then we met Jamel, and his customer service was just as superb. He was professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring. Both Matlyn and Jamel exceeded our expectations and made navigating the trauma of a fire more palatable.

In a moment where we felt displaced and shaken, this hotel gave us more than a room — they gave us relief, dignity, and peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful.

Ok location but there’s better
Pros:

Location close to the airport

Cons:

Windows cant be opened, so you turn on the AC. But the AC makes so much noise that sleep is impossible.
Only the bedroom has a window. The other room with the tv and sofa doesn’t, it’s like living in a coffin.

Underrated. Great hotel
Pros:

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Norfolk Airport. The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient with several nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
