Buen hotel para hacer parada
Pros:

Hotel perfecto para hacer parada en un viaje largo. Sin grandes lujos, las habitaciones son cómodas y están muy limpias. Nosotros somos una familia de 5 y estuvimos muy bien todos juntos en una habitación. El personal es muy amable.

Overall, our stay was overshadowed by the unfair breakfast policy and the staff’s unhelpful attitude

Everything was fair, and after an eight‑hour drive it proved to be a good place to rest.

Cons:

We booked a room for 5 people — 4 adults and 1 child — and paid accordingly, with breakfast included. However, only 2 adults and the child received breakfast coupons, as the hotel considered only 2 adults to be the main guests. The staff were also quite arrogant, repeatedly referring to their policy, even after I explained that it made no sense and that I couldn’t be the one deciding who gets breakfast and who doesn’t.
We contacted Booking for clarification, but the only explanation we received was that the hotel operates on a half‑board system.

Pros:

Window opened in room. Fenced dog park off the lobby! Restaurant attached. Swimming pool hot tub! Pet friendly. Nice large rooms with king size beds.

Cons:

Adjoining room with large gap under door which made the noise level very uncomfortable. The room was beside an electrical room that had a motor that was vibrating very badly the whole time near the head of the bed. Our door would not close on its own unless firmly pushed. All in all you should offer a discount or future partial credit as we will be returning to the area several times this year and have to make future choices

Pros:

A clean hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a White Spot on site, which made getting meals easy Our booking included breakfast; we had a hearty breakfast at White Spot before hitting the road which was nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a large counter, which was great for our family of four (two adults and two children). A short walk will take you to McArthur Island Park. Northill Shopping Centre was across the road, which had a Starbucks and a grocery store. I would stay in this property again!

The bed was pretty tall for a short person like me. It's comfy though!

Nice new well run Holiday Inn in Kamloops
Pros:

Manager was excellent. As he booked sealed about local sites. I commented I had been in Canada almost a week and hadn’t visited Tim Hortons. With out a hint of a smile he gave me careful instructions to the nearest one and noted that Canada’s second best destination, Canada Tire, was right next door. 😜

Another great stay before flying out of Kamloops
Pros:

Always a good stay here when I need to fly out of Kamloops. I have to say, on this occasion the manager, Jack, was exceptional. Very accommodating and great with the kids.
