Nice to stay somewhere that isn’t your standard corporate hotel where all rooms are the same.
Looking a little tired in places but easy to forgive that. It’s a heritage hotel, realistically priced so it’s what we expected. On the whole it was a very comfortable stay, with attentive, friendly staff.

Parking in front.
A bit of town center, shops and attractions so you need a car. No elevator. Lots of carpet.
Had a lovely mountains style older room. Check in experience was excellent. Paid top dollar over the Xmas /new year period, but we thought it was worth it for this time of the year. Dinner was also very good. A well-located Hotel a few hundred metres from the main street. Staff were good and engaged. I enjoyed use of the pool (not heated, but a lovey fine day made it enjoyable).

Spacious room. Near the train station. Piano man on weekends was great. Bed was ok. WiFi ok
Room smelled horrible. It was filthy. Carpets and furnishings were worn. Bugs. Lack of window coverings. There should be proper blackout in the bedroom and more than just sheer at front door and kitchen area
The pool water was refreshing, exceptional view, and the atmosphere whilst enjoying a meal was outstanding. Shout out to the piano player Alan for playing Happy Birthday to my partner and making her day.
No available streaming services in the room, or the ability to chromecast. A small err on our impeccable stay, but slightly disappointing as we just wanted to relax in our room with a movie after a day and evening of hiking, swimming and eating.
