Comfortable and good value for money with friendly staff
Pros:

The rooms were a very good size and the bed comfortable. Ample hot water and toiletries. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bar area was not very welcoming / comfortable but it was very quiet when I was there. Restaurant wasn’t open for this reason.

Great view & comfortable accommodation.
Pros:

Location. Old world charm. Breakfast. Staff.

Cons:

I stayed for a week, servicing of the room was below standard. This is something you wouldn’t notice if you only stayed for a couple of nights. Overall the hotel is a little rundown.

Great hotel full of old fashioned charm.
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel. It's situated a little out of town so make sure you have your walking shoes, but it's worth the walk up the hill for the spectacular views. My room was huge, really comfortable, and well equipped. Breakfasts are excellent and the bar is lovely for a pre dinner drink or nightcap.
I should also mention the staff, all of whom were welcoming, kind and eager to help make my stay as good as possible.

Views to die for from a very welcoming spot
Pros:

We were greeted with open arms by everyone at the property. The views from the hotel are nothing short of spectacular. This is a historic spot, so don't expect all the shiny new objects, but our accommodations were very spacious and clean, everything worked beautifully, the hotel restaurant was excellent and the staff very welcoming.
