I adore this hotel & it will always be my go-to place to stay as long as Nigel is around
Pros:

Nigel is the best thing about the property. He is always so incredibly friendly, has the best knowledge of hiking trails/places to go, & always goes above & beyond. Nigel is the reason that I am a regular client of this hotel

Cons:

Unfortunate that the restaurant has had to close for a few days a week

Wonderful hotel with an amazing view!
Pros:

The setting and views across the Blue Mountains were fabulous! The hotel was a short, easy walk from Katoomba. The room and bed were very comfortable!

Cons:

When we ordered drinks at the bar the bar man seemed to get distracted and went to serve in the dining room. We waited for ages and eventually asked someone else to chase up our order. Not a big problem, I guess they were a bit short staffed.

over all friendly staff and lovely place with good views breakfast dissapointing
Pros:

room was great with everything we needed

Cons:

on day 2 we arrived for breakfast at 9.30 am an hour before it finishes and all the croissants were gone and we were told we were too late ! if breakfast runs until 10 .30 am you should ensure there is enough for all your guests this was disappointing

Pros:

Stunning location to stay
Pros:

Everything! the room and bathroom size was fabulous, the view sublime, the bed very comfortable and the lighting and air conditioning good too. Teas and coffees provided were high quality. I was pleased that walking from the station was quick and easy even with a heavy case and rucksack and is a lovely walk through eucalyptus trees and agapanthus. The birds in this area are extraordinary, every morning is filled with their birdsong. Its a bird lovers dream place. The garden swimming pool is cool( about 19/20 degrees perhaps)but beautifully kept and so quiet. Stunning location to stay.

Cons:

Virtually nothing to be honest! I couldn't get the TV to work unfortunately, that's all.

Everything.

It was up a slight hill. I have heart failure therefore walking up was a little difficult. Having said that it was well worth the climb.

Great stay would recommend to anyone .
Pros:

Good location from station and restaurants . However do have yo be very mindful of traffic both ways as on a bed and mad it difficult to cross road safely when trying to leave or get to hotel .
Clean and loved the that they have kept the heritage look and feel , great breakfast with amazing views of the blue mountains.

Cons:

Happy hour should be daily we had short stay and so not available for us to enjoy It would also encourage more clientele as was very quiet early evenings .
