Residence Inn Marriott Concord

Front desk staff was often busy and away from the desk. The bed in the larger room was not made, with pillows and duvet on the floor of the dressing area. After the issue was corrected, we still had to request a vacuum cleaner to complete the job. The mattress on the pullout sofa was somewhat dirty as well, but the linens were clean and easy to put on the mattress.

That said, it was a Nascar weekend, and the hotel was very busy.

The indoor pool was very cold and not enjoyable to swim in, however the gym was well maintained and all the equipment was in proper order. The laundry facilities were easy to use with an app, and the property was overall clean and easy to get in and out of.

We visited for 5 nights as part of a wedding party. Staff members were friendly & helpful throughout our stay and the interior & exterior were kept clean. Our 1-bed suite was great and we enjoyed having a full sized fridge, microwave, and other appliances for our extended stay. There were only 2 small negatives in the room itself - lighting was strange and we never did figure out the coffee pot... With a long stay & large group, it was nice to have a variety of outdoor seating area options. However, when our group of 12 decided to make use of the firepit and grilling area, we ran into issues. The firepit didn’t work at all and the gas grill wouldn't get to temperature for cooking. Fortunately, we were able to use a small charcoal grill, but had to cook in shifts. The pool area was also frustrating - I can't think of anywhere I've stayed where there was an indoor pool but no hottub. We still tried the pool, but could only stay in the water for a few minutes because it was kept so cold. The location was very convenient for us - close to restaurants, stores, etc without feeling like we were in a city atmosphere. Just far enough set back from the road that it stayed quiet and peaceful. With a small effort, this could be an awesome property, rather than a good one.

Excellent hotel. Clean and very spacious. Enjoyed having a kitchen. It was a great hotel and if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay here.

Loved this hotel, very clean and had alot of food options and mall near by. Bed was amazing!! Customer service was great as well. The ONLY thing I had a little issue was is that they only had 1 elevator for the WHOLE building.

It was good and convenient. Very close to UNC Charlotte.

Overall, our stay went well. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We didnt receive daily room service and morning breakfast was ok. Please make sure to check your bill for accuracy when checking out. A few of us received pet charges when we had no pet. Hotel is a pet friendly hotel so no designated rooms for guests with pets.

The property is close to local attractions and shopping. Staff interactions were always friendly and helpful.

The 1 bedroom suite was spacious for 5 adults. The room was super clean. We ordered takeout and they didn't provide any utensils luckily the kitchenette was fully stocked with actual plates, eating utensils, and everything else you'd find in a regular kitchen! Overall the hotel had a pleasing aesthetic and we'd definitely stay here again.
