A truly magical hotel. Magnificent in every way.

Everything. It is a truly wonderful hotel. Brilliant staff, gorgeous room, crisp air-conditioning, quiet. Beautiful views from balcony. The staff gave excellent suggestions for dinner. We can’t wait to go back. And the location in the exquisite walled city of Lucca was perfect.

Great location and wonderful stay - we would stay again

The hotel is very well located to explore the area and Mario the owner is very friendly and accommodating

Cons:

We had a slight issue with the car park attendant that the hotel uses - he spoke limited English and was very stressed and rude to us but it was a very safe place to park

Sehr schöne Athmosphäre mit freundlichem Personal und zuvorkommender Inhaberfamilie.
Das Frühstück mit frischen Croissants/Rührei/ Pancakes ist ein guter Start in den Tag. Die Lage ist toll. Ruhig und doch nah am Zentrum.

Niente Wi-Fi. Niente o scarsa copertura telefonica. Bagno per hobbit. Minuscolo. Tv deludente. Riscaldamento solo dopo aver richiesto l’accensione in reception. Luci fioche e non tutte funzionanti. Sembra un hotel abbandonato. Letto matrimoniale composto da due materassi, a molle e vecchi. Coperte anni 70 di lana. Niente frigo. Staff gentile ma sembrerebbe impotente nel poter risolvere. Spero ristrutturino….

Great location. Quiet but only a couple of hundred metres from restaurants etc. very friendly staff. Overnight/breakfast waiter was very funny.
