Staybridge Suites - Philadelphia Valley Forge 422, an IHG Hotel

I book a room with a queen bed and the room I got had a full. When I went to the front desk I was told that I was wrong and they did nothing about it. The shower was filthy and drained very slowly and the drain in the sink was broken and not able to be closed. The small bed was very uncomfortable and woke up with back pain. I would advise to stay elsewhere

I travel for work and stay at hotels 10-11 months a year. This year I was placed in this hotel for a season so I spent lots of time in this hotel. Stayed in multiple rooms. I know what’s bad from good within 2 minutes and this place is trash. The little staff they have are rude and unprofessional. The best staff member is the 83 old man up front who was not SHY telling us about how there’s no staff and he’s only there because they can’t keep staff, but he doesn’t really care . I’ve had things stolen and when brought up… I was in the wrong and then side eyed by staff ever since. . I was yelled at one morning because I put my breakfast in a cup. The mon-weds “dinner” as they call it is just sad and disgusting. It’s at these times you really realize what this hotel is, the looks of the clientele / staff & food. Also the 1st and only time I went to check out the dinner I ( unaware myself) was past the 7pm cut off, I asked if it was still going and the staff grumpily said I could get something. The vibe I got from the staff is the extra food is promised to them as payment and I was taking away their pay. This should be closed and rebranded as one of those extended stays that serve/ employ lots of drug addicted people. Shady characters around every corner. I’m booked by the client so I have no control but I will say I’d never suggest anyone stays here.

The breakfast was very good.

Only stayed one night so I did not use any of the amenities. Breakfast was average. Bed was stiff.

Your maintenance and housekeeping staff were very cordial - greeting us, holding open the doors and elevator, asking if we needed anything and told us to have a good day.

I stayed a couple nights but I really love this place everything is just perfect especially the staff!

After being told by an employee I would get a refund for the stay I could not complete, and being in an abusive relationship confirming that I need the money back ASAP as I am currently out of any shelter and money, living in my car. I am pissed and this has caused a huge problem in my life.

Clean, great location, friendly staff

Room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Common areas had quite a bit of deferred maintenance and gym was mostly unusable. Staff friendly and helpful and convenient location.

Everything was very convenient and location was perfect, love the room and especially the breakfast, that was a plus! Staff was super friendly and personable. Made you feel like it was your family. Will definitely stay there again. The only thing I didn't get a chance to do the rewards because their computer were down. I'd like to become a member. But all in all it was a great stay

Stay at this hotel every time I come to this area. I’ve spent one night, up to a whole month here and it’s great. Comfortable, clean, and friendly service. Hot breakfast. The kitchenette is stocked with necessities. Really no complaints.

Loved the suite‘s setup. The free breakfast was awesome. The location was very convenient to Valley Forge and services. The road noise was loud. We saw two bugs in the room.
