Dramatisch dunne muren, ik heb 4 uur lang een, in de kamer ernaast opgenomen, porno film (!) moeten aanhoren! De balie medewerker reageerde dat dit vaker gebeurt en dat elke gast, een gast is. Ander personeel, netjes en behulpzaam!
Once again the Catalonia Malaga hotel has delivered on service, cleanliness, friendliness of all staff , breakfast buffet. Big shout out to Mercedes who remembered us from a previous visit when we checked in, her care of us and attention to details was very much appreciated. The room wasn’t quite ready and she went over and above to keep in touch with the cleaners and provided us with a voucher for a glass of Cava while we waited. (The room was ready before we finished the glass of cava - excellent customer service )The room was beautifully clean and we were on the second floor Room 205 overlooking the front and views out to sea. Everything was spotless and the shower gells, hand wash are high end and smell so nice . We booked this break on a room only basis as we enjoy getting out and about and using local eateries and mixing with the local Spanish residents however we did book breakfast for our last morning and as members of the Catalonia rewards club we were offered breakfast at 14 euros per person . The breakfast buffet was outstanding , lots of choice in all areas . The lady who was on duty was attentive and provided fresh orange juice to our table while we browsed the breakfast buffet. Fruit was lovely and fresh , choice of breads and cereals and pastries was great. The hot breakfast was ample and warm. Lovely coffee from the machine . Also noticed a good gluten free selection for those who need this . Lovely relaxing breakfast room and enjoyed every item we ate and drank .
The staff in the bar were people we recognised from our previous visits and the attentiveness and friendliness is excellent.
We did dine in the bar on our first evening and unfortunately we were a little disappointed as the meal was not quite as we expected having eaten here before and the portion size was definitely smaller and quality not as good as we recalled . Great location for those who want Malaga but a little way out from the hustle and bustle. Super local bus service easily transports you into town we used for number 7 bus. Great beach across the road and some fabulous cafes and restaurants all within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Overall another fabulous stay with this lovely hotel and its staff . I can definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning for a further visit as we missed out on sunny days so need to come back to fully enjoy the beach . Thank you for our 4th successful and happy visit .

Pěkný čistý hotel, čisté velké pokoje. Hotel se nachází u pláže (přes silnici) kde je i dětské hřiště přímo na pláži. Personál příjemný a ochotný. Hotel má svojí restauraci kde si můžete dát i večeři. Snídaně byla velmi dobrá, kvalitní suroviny a velký výběr. Byli jsme tu v Únoru takže mimo sezónu, takže nevím jak to vypadá v např. v létě. Jinak celkově spokojenost, určitě bych příště volil tento hotel.

I didn’t like the pillows at all! They are really ‘bolsters’ and very uncomfortable - I woke with a sore neck. Please provide square/rectangular pillows.
