Overall comfortable but a few drawbacks.
Pros:

Comfortable, good location.

Cons:

Rooms, baseboards, ect needed updated, chipped paint, cracked and showing age. Also,why not make the continental breakfast ending the same time as checkout every morning? Would be much more convenient, easier to remember and esp helpful for travelers checking out. Thank you.

OK for 2 nite stay.
Pros:

The lobby has a bright feeling. There is a bar and lots of snack food options. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful...restaurant suggestions, extra blanket. The area around the hotel has lots of dining and shopping options.

Cons:

The hotel building was COLD...as in temperature. There is a gas fireplace in the lobby but it was not on. Our room was fine as we controlled the heat. The carpeting is dirty in appearance. The room was just OK.....no couch or comfortable seating. It was just very basic.....no reason to go back.Breakfast was not included.....in this type of hotel it should be. If I went back to Aiken I would look for a newer hotel, or go old school and do bed and breakfast in town.

The love staying here because of its proximity to shops and the horse parks. We are always comfortable and have great restaurants continently close to the hotel.

5 Star Staff. Excellent Rating of 5 stars for Sha and Amber and the rest. Next time we are in the area this is our safe place for rest.

Pros:

The property was very nice and clean. The staff were all nice as well for the most part. The only thing I did not like was when I asked for extra sheets and blankets they were not available and the receptionist did not do anything to help us get what we needed. Also the mini fridge in the room didn’t have a stable temp option. The temp was either too hot or froze the food.

Great staff
Pros:

We were there for the weekend and found this to be a convenient location. The front desk staff, Dana especially, were welcoming and provided information about possible dinner locations. The breakfast crew, Jennifer and the cook whose name I can't remember were welcoming and attentive. This is not a free breakfast but you can either pay or have it on your reservation. The lobby and restaurant area are bright and welcoming. The rooms are good sized, but in desperate need of renovation. That is what is driving the rating from a 4 or more to a 3. Carpets in the hallways were very worn, and the bathroom was definitely in need of an update.

Pros:

Ended up paying expedia and the hotel. Twice for same room. Reception on check-in stated no payment was made by expedia and we had to pay. Checked our credit card the next morning and we had paid via expedia. On check out the receptionist said she was not authorised to produce a refund and gave up an e-mail address for the manager.
We did a live chat with expedia who could not contact the hotel so passes it on to the next team. Then got a reply from Mohammad from experia who stated he was unable to contact the suppliers so could not provide a refund a said there was nothing else he could do !!!!!
