Pros:

A great hotel for a 1-2 night stay. It is located right by the river and in the middle of the forest, so it feels very peaceful and serene. It is a perfect place if you are looking for some tranquility. Just a heads-up: there is no mini-bar in the room. Also, the breakfast could be a bit more varied - for example, it would be nice to have some fresh vegetables.

A beautiful location, we would definitely stay again.
Pros:

It is in a truly beautiful area beside the river Edre with a wonderful picnic park area beside it.
It was exceptionally clean and the staff were excellent.
The room was a lovely size with a view to the garden and woodland at the rear.
Nantes was a great place to wander around, the botanical gardens are amazing and the Chataeu des Ducs is spectacular.
A two minute walk from the hotel is the University Vetinary Collage.
It has a public vet attached where we took our dog for her tapeworm treatment prior to sailing to the UK. We walked in and were seen there and then.
Be aware that if you use the vets they are in training, you need to allow plenty of time as they are very thorough.
We had a lovely girl called Pauline and it was a pleasure to be able to provide our dog as a study for her.

Cons:

We didn't enjoy the meal we had the first night, we both felt the food was very bland, we had Thai chicken and a pork cheek dish.
We had a shower in the bath and found the bath very slippery, there was no handle to use for getting in and out.
These points did not detract from how nice the hotel was.

Petit déjeuner tres complet, quoi qu un peu cher.
Accueil super

l'accès pas facile avec les travaux ... (c'est temporaire ...)

Very relaxing. Lovely walks near by. Meals available at hotel in evening were very nice.

The family room was very spacious and quiet. It was easy to get to.
