Pros:

Excellent breakfast. There were hot dishes: omlette and a type of meat depending on the day, waffles, oatmeal or grits. Beds were comfortable.

Very Disappointing
Pros:

The breakfast was ok and we liked being on the fourth floor.

Cons:

The room was very humid and damp. The bed was lumpy and hard . The carpet was extremely dirty it turned my socks black . The mini fridge didn’t work well.

Our only issue was that the room itself smelled very moldy.

Overall, a good hotel and I would stay there again. Just check the room first.
Pros:

The parking lot was well planned with a lot of shade, very convenient to the building. The lobby is quite beautiful and grand-reminds you of one of the resort hotels at Kiawah. (Seriously)
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful
The morning breakfast is about average-the hotel waffle maker, and processed omelettes (pre cooked) apples, and orange oranges.
Very nice gym with a peloton bike and some other elliptical and treadmills.
The hotel is conveniently located in upper North Charleston at 205B close to Trident Hospital in Charleston Southern University. It is located on the residential side of university Boulevard and pretty quiet and out of the way.
The AC worked great.

Cons:

The rooms are a sharp contrast from the lobby area. We had two queen beds that pretty much took up the whole room.
The only chair was in office chair, and the arms did not lower to fit under the desk.
The room was somewhat outdated, needed to be overhauled, shower needed grout carpet needed to be replaced. Very low flow toilet so you had to hold it down to flush and you had to fight with Control to get the shower to turn on.
I assume they will be upgrading soon
I would not base by stay on one staff member, as that isn’t fair, but the sheets were not changed prior to our arrival. I won’t provide the nasty detail, but the hotel staff and management was very apologetic and quick to correct it. I also think this is common in a lot of hotels unfortunately.
From now on wherever we stay, I will be asking for sheets when we check in.

Pros:

I like my stay and the whole staff were very pleasant from the front desk, dining hall, and housekeeping. Emily, Anthony, Amber, Ethan, and there was another I can't quite remember her name but I will call her Ms. Converse thank you all for making my stay pleasant.💕

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was the 1st room wasn't all that clean for me. But at the same time I was accommodated for my inconvenience immediately.
