A very decent hotel that I would recommend.
Pros:

Clean modern with indoor pool.
Breakfast was good

Cons:

Not much available in the hotel in the line of drinks, snacks or bottled water.
Hallways were frigid.

Ease access and quiet
Pros:

Two things we look for when travelling- ease highway access buf quiet location as well. Location is also great as there are a number of restaurants (steakhouse and a Mexican) as well as several fast food (pita, pizza, KFC) within walking distance.
We were upgraded to a room with s tub on the 4th floor. Usual HIE breakfast but cinnamon buns appeared to be much smaller than usual.
We had been staying at several HIE hotels in USA and we're pleased to discover that Canadian hotels still have Keurig coffee makers in room without having to request one.

Good option for the event I had to attend
Pros:

Great breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, baked goods, bread and bagels, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, cinnamon buns, juice, tea, coffee, and more), friendly staff, very clean.
Didn't use it but loved that there was a pool and fitness centre.

Cons:

The room keys were very glitchy and my friend woke us up at 1:30 AM because he couldn't get in. 3 times during our 1 night stay we had to replace our key because it wouldn't work, twice at 1:30 AM.
Also, the front doors closed at 11 PM-6 AM and no one told us this at check-in. There was an piece of printer paper posted beside the door informing guests to use the side doors, but we had left before 11 PM so we had no idea.
