The sevice and the room were OK
A bit noisy
Location
Wi-Fi was horrible. You could hear people making lots of noise when staff was moving tables or chairs at night. We couldn't rest at night because that kept waking us up.
Liked how comfortable and clean it was. Location was great. I'm a solo traveler so I like the tv on to keep me company. The tv in this room was hard to turn on. Batteries in the controller were good. The tv was very hard to actually turn on. The side switch power control only worked once out of every 50 tries. Great place. Don't be shy to let them know if you need the tv on.
Central Puebla is full of sumptuous 17th and 18th century mansions built around double courtyards. In this one, the original features are preserved, and very atmospheric. There is even an old portrait of statesman Juan de Palafox on the wall - the bishop who donated the wonderful Palafoxiana library to the city. Location in the Centro Historico offers easy access to great bars, cafes and local sights and monuments including the superb Museo Amparo. Despite the central location, our rooms were quiet and peaceful. Facilities were good (the showers are hot morning and evening, tepid during the day). Staff were helpful.
Classic atmosphere, spacious room, wonderful location around the corner of Zocalo.
There was a plumbing problem when we checked into our room which was fixed quickly, we prefer a bigger bed but was comfy enough.
Spent two nights, quiet and conveniently located for exploring Puebla
Loved our stay, originally for 1 night became 3 staff was friendly, helpful and the facility is great
The history and the location.
There was no internet, there was no hot water (even though the front desk said they had both) and we had no water at all until 11:00am the day we were flying home. They suggested we take showers at another hotel.
