Wish we could have stayed longer!!
Pros:

Loved the location in this idyllic village. Central and so very comfortable. Bonus to have a balcony.

Cons:

For longer stays a little fridge would be ideal.

Lovely, comfortable and a staff member who saved the day. Thanks
Pros:

A massive thank you to Abby who found my wedding ring.

Cons:

A little flexibility on check out time. I got stuck in traffic and those 10 minutes meant I would have been able to get my ring and carry all the cases down. My 66 y/o mum had to carry them and wasn’t offered any help, after asking for 10 minutes.

Super Ambiente, hervorragender Komfort, freundliches Personal
Pros:

Nice central hotel, friendly staff. No on-site parking
Pros:

Location, room comfort, excellent shower. Staff were welcoming even tough i arrived late into the evening. Also very nice breakfast at a fair price.

Cons:

No on site parking was a bit of a drag. But the car park recommended by the staff was a 4 min drive and a 2min walk back through the alleyway. And it was dirt cheap.

Good value for money, excellent breakfast
Pros:

Great location in the centre of Romsey. Room decor was as expected, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast, good choice on both the buffet and breakfast menu (cooked to order) staff were friendly.

Cons:

The room was very hot, fan was provided but still hot, shame no A/C. All 4 pillows were lumpy/tired- well used, hotel needs to invest in some new ones.
We sat outside and had lunch, which was ok - we went to our room to get ready for an evening out, from our room you could see the table that we sat at for lunch and it was a long time before our plates/glasses were cleared.

Recommended.
Pros:

A pleasure to stay here at a distinctive hotel. Well located in Romsey, the staff were friendly and proactive in addressing a potential noise issue; the building has charm; the dinner food was relatively simple but good quality, both child and adult meals; and there are some good cafes nearby for breakfast. We'd stay again.

Cons:

Nothing, really.

Beautiful period building in a gorgeous town. The staff are superb. So helpful and caring. We loved it!
Pros:

What a wonderful find! Beautiful period hotel with the most helpful and accommodating staff. We loved our stay here and will definitely come back.

Cons:

Nothing we didn’t like. Even when we had an emergency with a water pipe bursting, the staff could not have been more kind and helpful.

Will definitely return!
Pros:

Location was fine. Staff were great - accommodating and friendly. I felt the bacon was slightly overcooked (hard) but otherwise was excellent.

Cons:

For me, the pillows were "overstuffed" - I wanted a thinner and softer one. Otherwise room was excellent. Lots of stairs though, but nice to have a view over the courtyard. Chiming clock in the night was a nuisance.

I enjoyed it
Pros:

Easy yo order , proffessional polite staff .

Cons:

The Bed , I may be mistaken as I often am . But the bed head needs a couple of books under each leg , I felt my head end was lower :-) . Might have been thd beer , or a very old building being a bit wonky . Not z big deal anx no complaint . But pls check it is level .
