Pros:

The central location, the outside dining area, the friendly staff. Food good but more variety would be appreciated. Romsey is a fascinating little town, a wheel chair friendly heritage trail.

Cons:

Difficult finding parking. Provide the post code for the car park, not just the hotel.

Practically perfect in every way!
Pros:

I stay at this hotel frequently and it never fails to be exquisite. The staff are fantastic and welcoming and the rooms are well presented woth fantastic attention to detail.

Cons:

That I can’t stay longer and for pleasure, rather than work!

Also, it makes any other hotel I stay in look just a little less impressive!!

Great stay
Pros:

Very easy check in. The hotel is in a lovely location. We stayed in the loft room. The room was very spacious and had a well thought out layout. Bathroom was lovely and modern, room and bathroom were both very clean. Room had aircon too which was ideal for the hot weather. We had full English breakfast the next morning which was very tasty. Overall such a great stay would definitely recommend.

Cons:

Downside was no direct parking however there was a carpark only a short walk away, which wasnt a problem at all. Nothing we didn't like about the hotel.

A charming stay with a cosy, comfortable room, wonderful staff, and a fantastic central location.
Pros:

Loved my stay! The room was clean, cosy, and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The staff were lovely, friendly, and welcoming throughout. The location was very central, making it easy to get around and explore. Having parking available was also a bonus. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Cons:

If I could change one thing, I would have loved a stronger fan or air conditioning in the room, especially on these hot summer days.

Highly recommended
Pros:

We visited for lunch without a booking. The restaurant was fully booked but we were found a table outside. I had roast chicken and my partner had the smaller lamb option, which was just one slice of meat with the rest of the roast trimmings. Everything was absolutely delicious, with very flavoursome vegetables. We were tempted into having pudding. The pannacotta was the best I have had with a medley of delightful flavours; ginger, sweet rhubarb, tangy raspberry coulis, and toasted orange all complimenting each other. The first mouthful was a lovely surprise.

There was very pleasant live music with a good singer and this added to the experience. One to revisit.

A lovely experience at this quaint hotel.
Pros:

Had a one night stay in this delightful hotel. It’s located right in the town close to the square. There’s very cheap parking immediately behind the hotel. Free from 4pm until the next morning at 8.30am. Theres a lovely seating area outside to relax in.
We had breakfast which we really enjoyed as you had a choice of several options freshly cooked for you. You could also have toast, cereals and pastries. All the staff were very pleasant and professional.
Our room 101 was a bit quirky with slightly tipsy floors and a narrow entrance down to one of the biggest bathrooms I’ve seen in a hotel.
Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival. Nice fluffy towels and toiletries.

I was half way home and realised I’d left three items in the wardrobe. On phoning housekeeping they immediately confirmed they had them safe and would be posting them asap. I was so grateful.
