Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel very centrally located. Staff very helpful and friendly
A car park for the hotel would have been good but we didn’t have to walk far and the charge was very reasonable
My room was great
Good location
We had a problem with the night manager on Saturday night we came home she told us the bar was closed and it was before 11 o’clock and then I told her that we were residents and she said that that we could have 1 more drink and that was it.😡😡😡 we have stayed at the White Horse on many occasions and never had this problem before I’m 79 and all the other people are in there 70s and we are not trouble makers and noisy . Zero rating for the night manager.😡😡😡😡😡
Lovely hotel. Great room. Friendly staff. Accommodated mother in laws mobility scooter. Went above and beyond. Bar staff was very helpful regarding a Japanese Whisky.
Nothing. All top notch.
Car parking information from reception was in-correct
Sehr gemütliche und stimmige Einrichtung, das Gebäude hat einen sehr besonderen Charme.
Etwas weiche Matratzen.
It was great
Nothing
Liked the friendly staff, and facilities, and location. The lunch was good,
The breakfast was a rip off, £17 for a very small cooked breakfast, not value for money. Also, the beer was very expensive, 0ver £7 a pint.
The toilet in my room kept running with water, the valve inside is sticking and I had problems getting the flow of water to stop running.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Excellent breakfast.
Excellent location and staff very friendly
We will definitely stay here again
Everything!
Liked it all.
Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly, location was great.
The window wouldn’t open in our room, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom. The room consequently smelt quite stale, and a bit ‘boozy’. There was only 1 towel provided, though we did ring for another one, and only 1 bottle of water. There was no lift, and the receptionist didn’t offer to get someone to help with our luggage up 2 flights of stairs, and being a bit older with bad knees this wasn’t appreciated.
Generally there was a lack of care and consideration.
Our 6th visit to this hotel. Say no more!
Nobody on the reception desk when we arrived.
