Beautiful character inn. Maintained to a very high standard. Friendly staff, delicious food, comfortable bed, great value for money. I will stay again.
Not the property’s fault, but the only available parking is in a public car park a short walk away which requires payment
Rooms good nice place to stay
Bar service poor
Cooked English breakfast over cooked
Fried eggs hard. bacon could not eat over cooked
Black pudding cremated.
Toasts was good I cooked it myself
All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was great. The room was too hot at one end and too cold at the other end. Dest was too smal to be able to work in the room.
The hotel was relaxing and the staff were friendly
Loud music late and we were at the back and they had a Scottish theme and they were playing loud music and singing it finished at 2300 then someone opened the doors and they continued again and it was even louder.
fantastic location, wonderful history, cheaper than premier and convenient nearby parking
highly recommend
Staff were very friendly and helpful
everything, but original tudor wall paintings top the bill for me
Excellent location for a night our with friends in Romsey.
No secure parking. We had to park in a public car park.
The breakfasts were substantial with plenty of choice. The Sunday roast was exceptionally tasty, especially the potatoes which were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The location was perfect, close to shops and many attractive historical buildings especially the Abbey. It was a joy to hear the bells pealing on Sunday evening.
Location very good, breakfast nice
Our stay was very nice.
Friendly staff, lovely premises with lots of seating areas, excellent location and good breakfast.
The restaurant was a little bit expensive and I would have liked some freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.
