AC doesn’t work, was told since it’s older building this is expected and we were told to open the window for 10 minutes. Bath tub leaks even when it’s plugged. We had do not disturb sign on and a staff member ignored it and still cleaned the room. We had towels hung up so they didn’t need to be replaced, but we still got new towels. The bathroom / shower door makes no sense, it can only close one side at a time. Price not worth it for what it was, we paid extra thinking it was a 5 star hotel, it definitely was not.

Excellent location, will be considered on my next visit to Shanghai.
Pros:

The hotel is located at the beginning of the Nanjing Road pedestrian walkway, and there's even a secondary exit onto that street. The room is quite comfortable for its size, and the cleanliness and room service are adequate. The towels were new and of excellent quality, and the breakfast was very good, with many options.

Cons:

I didn't like the shower; there were two steps to access it, and although the bathroom was spacious, the shower stall was relatively small!

The shampoo and body wash smelled like tangerines, which I don't like, but it was acceptable, although scent is a very personal thing.

Modern spacious rooms and good breakfast
Pros:

Most things if not everything. Breakfasts was great and the rooms were new. Great bathtub and shower - comfy bed and nice staff. Everything you could need in your room

Cons:

Felt over watched by three lifeguards at the pool - only me swimming! Maybe this is just a compliance thing that needs to be followed but it took the relaxing nature of it away and I left after 15 minutes

Wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel. More 3/5 and the 3 I’m giving is all because of location
Pros:

Location for this property is great

Cons:

The pool and facilities is very poor the pool times were 9am - 9pm for a hotel that is poor it should be 6am - 10:30pm like other “5stars” hotel.

Furthermore the sauna was never on and we had to switch it on ourselves and we found that the water is completely broken.

On first arrival the power adapter which they offer was faulty and was replaced within an hour. Aircon does not work it would only blow out hot air even on the cold settings the engineers said that it’s winter so they switched it off so it won’t work and that only hot air blows out. What is even the point in it then? The room in some days like living in a furnace

Few of the days the maid did not give us any of the amenities such as towels, paper tissues, slippers, water and she even left her keycard for power which could have been used for other rooms. I had to call the reception to let them know what was going on and they sent someone up to rectify it all.

Went to reception to give the issues and they took it as a joke.

Pros:

식당, 쇼핑몰 등 어디를 가도 편한 위치, 리모델링 된 방으로 교체해 주셨는데 깔끔하고 좋았습니다. 직원분들도 친절하시고 모든 것이 좋았습니다. 다음에도 또 이용하고 싶습니다.
