Pros:

I do not recommend this hotel. After arriving with my family, tired from our journey, they assigned us to the third floor and told us we had to take the stairs because the elevator was out of order. The service was terrible.

It got the job done
Pros:

I like that it was 8 min from a beach and Kemah boardwalk.

Cons:

This property is really old. It got the job done, but I didn’t anticipate how run down the furniture would look. I also saw a roach in the bathroom on the last day when we were checking out. The staff were super sweet but I guess I didn’t get the reviews before I booked. It was the cheapest hotel closest to the boardwalk and it makes sense why. I went to celebrate my 7 year old bday so he was satisfied and I did not complain. But we had somewhere to rest our head which was I guess what was important.

Avoid at all costs if you are accustomed to Choice Suites
Cons:

If you are looking for the Econolodge or Roadway level of service, functionality and quality this is your place. If you stay at Choice Suites, this is NOT where you want to stay. Elevator has been broken for MONTHS, same for the ice machines on the first and third floors. Half of the rooms are under construction with no locks. Staff is helpless. Only available rooms are on the 3rd floor as long term stays have utilized all of the first floor rooms. As a combat veteran, running 3 floors of stairs for anything is painful, and your staff just smiles and apologizes. What else can she do? Owners apparently don't care as long as they can collect money.
Basically save your money and sleep in your car or under a Humvee. You'll be happier, I know I would have been.

I would not recommend that you stay here at this hotel
Pros:

The lady with the blonde hair at the front desk was so sweet to us.

Cons:

The elevator was broken and I had to walk up three flights of stairs just to get to my first room in the air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly so they switched me rooms but left me on third floor. I am a 60-year-old woman it’s hard for me to go up and down the stairs, but I knew I couldn’t cancel my reservation because they would’ve charged me anyway.

Great location for space centre
Pros:

It was close by to space centre and kemah broadwalk and only a $35 Uber into downtown Houston. Staff were helpful drying laundry for me.

Cons:

On the map the location looks great as it's near everything but you can't walk anywhere as it's near a highway, have to Uber everywhere. AC was leaking in my room also.

Pros:

The room was filthy. The furniture looked like rats or dogs are chewing on it. Spider web all over the room
No tv channels. Breakfast was the same for 4 days straight. Told I couldn’t get new towels unless I stayed 4 nights. Carpet in hall and in room was gross and stained. Workers just played on their phones and had friends laying around the lobby.
