Got in very late and checked in. Had my dog with me. they indicated where I could take her to potty. they were very friendly.
Staff was friendly and room was clean.
Pros: nice big room. Pretty clean with a little wear n tear in the bathroom. Blackout roll shades, AC worked great. Loved how the desk and couch area was over by the window and bed farther away. Nice big mirror on closet door. Great parking for a utility trailer and nothing was bothered. Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and McDonald’s within walking distance. Felt safe.
Cons: no curtain at top of window, so that annoying crack of light came in top of shade. Shower had good pressure, but the shower head sprayed weird. I wish all hotels would put in the hand wand kind.
Over all happy with our stay
The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was sufficient and we were greeted nicely
Clean yes. Shower pressure great. Bed firm but manageable. Friendly front desk very nice. Easy on off freeway. Gas station right by the hotel. Two thumbs up. Price a little high but worth it for where you are.
This has been one of our favorite hotels to stop at while on our way home. We've stayed here 3 out of the last 4 years. It is well managed, always clean and the rooms are comfortable after a long days drive. The staff has been very accommodating and helpful. There is a lot of history in the town but unfortunately we didn't have time to stay.
Very friendly staff
Room was clean & beds comfortable & room was large!
We will be back!
Spent three nights at Tucumcari, N M. It was a nice room, convenient location. The staff was great! Every single person except one.
Quick check in. Clean rooms Queen size bed. Quiet room dark out curtains. Breakfast in the morning if you want. Coffee all the time.
Easy on and off the I-40. Room clean and spacious. Television was the biggest I have ever seen in a hotel. Only people above us very briefly. Bathroom floor was a tad sticky, otherwise perfect and a definite stop again.
Very much appreciated and enjoyed staying at LaQuinta Tucumcari. Tucumcari is half way to and from the canyon for us. Staying at LaQuinta was the right decision, clean, friendly, convenient, rejuvenating. Highly recommend.
Checking in was pleasant. Room was very nice!
Nice place for a stay on a cross country trip with our dogs. Quiet, designated pet area. Workout room and pool looked great, though we did not use them. Friendly staff. We’re in the process of moving cross country and this is our second stay. Will stay here again.
Friendly staff and beautiful, clean swimming pool and fitness center (although the pool lacks a shower to allow the "required" showers to be taken); spacious, bright breakfast area; slowest elevator ever, but we met a lot of delightful people as we waited for and then rode in it. Conveniently located just a couple of blocks off I-40.
The big negative (and more tech-savvy folks will NOT have an issue with it) was the fact that no one in our party knew how to use the Direct TV remote, nor did we have experience with Direct TV at home or elsewhere. A manual in the room or even a website tutorial would've enabled us to access the TV, as all the help the staff could give was "the housekeeping staff might know how to use it." We were not about to slow down that busy crew (who already had their hands full with a sold-out or nearly sold-out hotel) to give us lessons on how to use the TV, and anyway, we were away from the hotel most of the time the housekeeping staff was on duty. Luckily, we had brought good reading material and had online access to other entertainments when not visiting family in town.
This is an excellent place to stop with pets. Very clean and set up properly (no carpet) in the pet rooms. I do wish their pet relief area was 1. Enclosed and 2. The overall lot was better picked with pet leavings from bad owners who don’t do their jobs. That said two people really stood out and that was Jonathan and Taylor-very helpful, kind and just nice people. My large poodle won’t climb stairs and they made sure I had a first floor room after an exhausting 10 hour drive. I was traveling alone and felt safe and comfortable there-I stayed there both coming and going to Phoenix to visit family and I will return. Also, it was very quiet at night despite the fact there were many pets in residence.
We stayed here for the first time. Staff were amazing and room was nice. However I did try to take a nice hot shower at night and the water was cold. My hubby did get his warm shower in the morning.
I was moving across country, having to bring two dogs and one cat. The hotel worked with me and it was a wonderful experience. The breakfast bar was great, plenty of food, and lots of choices. The personnel were wonderful, so helpful and polite. Thank you!
This was a last minute decision to stop on our way through and La Quinta Tucumcari did not dissappoint. It is pet friendly with a $30 pet fee. It is easily accessible, just a little bit off the interstate. Clean, quiet and comfortable. We got a great nights rest before continuing on our drive. As most hotels these days, it offered body wash, shampoo and conditioner on the wall. The shower was nice and hot. We had a quick breakfast before heading out. They offered what I'd considered a normal hotel breakfast, with the option to make your own waffles. Coffee location took a minute to find as it was just outside the entrance to the breakfast room. I assume so those just wanting coffee didn't have to walk all the way into the breakfast area. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location. We needed parking for a moving truck and they had well lighted, large lot. Staff was friendly.
Very nice front desk young man…
