The hotel suited our needs fine except for the pool issue.
Pros:

Was close to the baseball fields. We were there for a tournament Our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We were not told the pool wasn’t usable. That was something the kids were excited about. It would have been good to be told that ahead of time. The lady working the breakfast was kind of rude. She was mumbling under her breathe while cleaning tables and was watching and waiting for people to leave. Standing right by them with her cloth and cleaner. That wasn’t necessary.

This was my least favorite experience at this hotel.
Pros:

Location is great. Facilities are adequate. There was NO HOT WATER on the morning that I was checking out which meant I was unable to take a shower. This was a horrible stay and I likely will not stay here in the future.

Cons:

Finding a way to fix the hot water problem quickly would have helped immensely. I waited between 6am-7:30am and it still wasn'ty fixed by the time I needed to leave at 7:45am which was a HUGE problem for me.

We needed a place to stay but would not recommend staying here to friends
Pros:

Our Check in was pleasant. The Room was average. Very Secure location.

Cons:

I won’t be staying there next trip to East Peoria. Was not happy with our room when asking for a handicap room.

Poor customer service and unwelcoming staff

The hotel looked well kept as did the rooms.

Cons:

The television in one of the rooms wasn’t working and I was told that a staff member would take a look at it; however, when I checked with the staff, he said I needed to “deal with it” until tomorrow because he wasn’t going to look at it until then. When I said that was unacceptable and requested a new room nearby my second room, he told me that my family and I could leave and check into the Best Western because they have nice rooms. Needless to say, me, my daughter-in-law and my two young grandchildren felt very unwelcome and packed up and left. I will not stay there again and I will not recommend them to anyone. We stayed at a very nice Holiday Inn and they had a wonderful staff.

Pros:

We arrived later in the evening. Very friendly staff. Our key didn’t work but we were just sleeping and leaving the next morning so it was not a problem. Good breakfast spread. We were on the first floor. Thin walls, could hear tv in next room. I’m a sound sleeper so did not effect us but may consider noise machine if this bothers you.
