Cane to Napa for a 2 night stay for a concert. Hotel was quiet, comfortable and the perfect location for walking to everything. Tons of restaurants within a few blocks.
Added bonus of free parking and a welcome glass of really nice wine. Will definitely come back.
Some reviews list noise as a complaint. That was not an issue for us at all. The bed was comfortable. The room was spendy, but I have a feeling that is Napa in general. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of a lot of amenities, but we would stay here again on a return trip. CJ at the front desk offered a very engaging and friendly welcome back to the hotel after our dinner. Really great kid with a bright future in hospitality!
Very underwhelming experience at the Andaz Napa. I was there for just one night for a friend's birthday dinner, and the big positive for me here was the convenience of the location. Otherwise... not good.
The room had dark hairs on the floor. Furniture and floors were extremely beat up and in need of a major renovation. The standard room is quite small without any area to sit. The sink fixture in the bathroom wouldn't allow for the water to completely stop running. The toilet didn't always flush properly. The security latch on the door was damaged and nearly broken off. Overall it was in very poor condition and just one thing after another. Service was friendly at check-out, but when I shared the above after being asked how my stay was, there was no effort to offer anything.
Bottom line... I had some faith in this booking based on TripAdvisor reviews but was really let down. I chose the Andaz based on that and my Hyatt status and it wasn't worth it. Too many great other options close by than to spend much needed vacation time here.
LaMika checked us in. We requested an early check in and she granted our request. She was so incredibly nice! A ray of sunshine and an asset to the Andaz. We were suppose to stay at the Archer hotel and booked the Andaz by mistake. We will be coming back to the Andaz. Also, Lee Lee was our server at the bar. She was amazing and smiling the whole time she served us. These ladies made our trip amazing ! We will be back!! Thank you LaMika and Lee Lee.
The ANDAZ property was beautifully appointed with exceptional staff from front door to front desk! Property was centrally located in Napa Valley!
Very pleasant stay - the hotel room was nice and clean. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby to have our welcome wine. It was a short walk from everything we wanted to do.
The rooms are dated and run down. The furniture was cheap and damaged. The bathroom smelled of mildew. We will not be back.
The stay at Andaz Napa was exceptional. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location was perfect with a view overlooking Napa. The staff were all wonderful, expecially the manager, who made sure our stay was extra special for our anniversary. Parking was easy behind the hotel if you did not want to valet. I will definately stay here again! The only minor complaint was noise from the bar/tasting room across the street. But it didn't last very long.
Great location in the heart of downtown Napa. Many restaurants, wine cellars, coffee shops, shopping, and antique shops are within a 10 minute walk. Appreciated the welcome wine tasting upon arrival. There is also free self-parking in a garage that's just around the corner from the hotel. Our main visit was to see a concert at the Uptown Theater on 3rd street which was just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. My only complaint was that the water in the shower and bathtub was confusing to adjust the temperature of the water and it's actually the opposite direction than what the faucet says. I would definitely stay here again if I were to see another show at the Uptown.
Overall the staff is enthusiastic and very responsible. However, the housekeeping is disaster. The broken glasses in the room which cut my foot. The Staff call the EMS very quick, but the rest of my schedule is ruined.
Excellent day. The staff was kind and attentive. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a small balcony. This is in an excellent with shops, restaurants within steps outside the hotel. Parking was complementary and just behind the building. Despite being in the downtown area, noise was an issue. We’re definitely coming back.
Not well maintained for a “high end” hotel.
Stained walls and lap shade, ripped curtain, cabinet door falling off hinge, floor boards separating, lamp shade in bathroom falling apart, the bed frame sounded like it was going to fall apart just from sitting down on it, elevator mirror broken.
Positives: free wine pour upon check in and location.
Expected more from $500/night.
Everything is OK, not good. The staff is very nice
The room is old and poor for the price I paid ($600 night)
My room was located directly under the walk-in freezer, and the noise made it impossible for me to sleep. I requested to be moved to another room, but I was informed that none were available.
I was offered 1,000 Hyatt points as compensation; however, this does not feel adequate compared to the cost of the room for that night and the inconvenience I experienced.
Enjoyed my stay at this upscale luxury hotel. Wonderful amenities including a complementary glass of wine upon arrival. Located in downtown Napa in walking distance to wonderful restaurants, tasting rooms, and shopping.
Excellent stay! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We got off to a great start by texting with Michelle, who did a great job. Emily M., a host. excelled in hospitality and friendliness. She was outstanding. Kudos to her. Everyone was great. Vince at the Mercantile Terrace recommended and made a great cocktail--and brought water without being asked. We are very happy to be going there again for our anniversary.
The hotel is located in the heart of many great locations. Restaurants, shops, the rover, and the Oxbow market are in easy walking distance. highly recommended.
