Overall the staff is enthusiastic and very responsible. However, the housekeeping is disaster. The broken glasses in the room which cut my foot. The Staff call the EMS very quick, but the rest of my schedule is ruined.
Excellent day. The staff was kind and attentive. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a small balcony. This is in an excellent with shops, restaurants within steps outside the hotel. Parking was complementary and just behind the building. Despite being in the downtown area, noise was an issue. We’re definitely coming back.
Not well maintained for a “high end” hotel.
Stained walls and lap shade, ripped curtain, cabinet door falling off hinge, floor boards separating, lamp shade in bathroom falling apart, the bed frame sounded like it was going to fall apart just from sitting down on it, elevator mirror broken.
Positives: free wine pour upon check in and location.
Expected more from $500/night.
Everything is OK, not good. The staff is very nice
The room is old and poor for the price I paid ($600 night)
My room was located directly under the walk-in freezer, and the noise made it impossible for me to sleep. I requested to be moved to another room, but I was informed that none were available.
I was offered 1,000 Hyatt points as compensation; however, this does not feel adequate compared to the cost of the room for that night and the inconvenience I experienced.
Enjoyed my stay at this upscale luxury hotel. Wonderful amenities including a complementary glass of wine upon arrival. Located in downtown Napa in walking distance to wonderful restaurants, tasting rooms, and shopping.
Excellent stay! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We got off to a great start by texting with Michelle, who did a great job. Emily M., a host. excelled in hospitality and friendliness. She was outstanding. Kudos to her. Everyone was great. Vince at the Mercantile Terrace recommended and made a great cocktail--and brought water without being asked. We are very happy to be going there again for our anniversary.
The hotel is located in the heart of many great locations. Restaurants, shops, the rover, and the Oxbow market are in easy walking distance. highly recommended.
We had a great check-in experience, and really enjoyed our stay! We were welcomed with a taste of wine, and they were very inviting and gracious hosting at the reception counter from Natalie. She welcomed us, gave us some insider tips on what was going on on the weekend, and was generally very welcoming. Would recommend staying here based on the great location, but nightly live band, and the great room that we had in the corner.
Perfect weekend getaway.
Received a suite upgrade that had a separate sitting area and a fireplace that was quite cozy.
The location truly can’t be beat. It’s walkable to so many great restaurants, shops, and cafés, and only about a 10-minute walk to Oxbow Market. Yes, it made a dent in the wallet, but I’d happily do it again.
We spent the afternoon wine tasting and enjoyed a lovely lunch at Domaine Carneros. The Lyft ride to the winery took about 10 minutes and cost roughly $15.
Snacks and a nightcap on the terrace at Mercantile Social was the perfect way to end the evening. Breakfast the next morning at Farmer’s Table was equally smooth, no wait, and our food arrived within minutes.
A relaxing massage session just minutes away (door to door) at Blue Water Day Spa.
Valet service was quick, friendly, and super convenient. Special shout-out to Keith, who was a superstar.
Would definitely stay here again and possibly make this a semi-annual visit.
This is a very nice hotel in a great central location and it will be our new go-too when we visit Napa. The front desk staff was excellent, as well
Located in the heart of downtown Napa, this hotel is in a great place while visiting wine country. You can easily walk to many tasting rooms and restaurants nearby.
The interior is very modern, and rooms seem to be nearly suite quality. The restaurant has earned its reputation for being excellent, and was very reasonable as well.
However, if you're looking for a quiet place to stay, I'm afraid you'll have to look somewhere else... Napa is a really happening place and there is a lot of hustle and bustle. The rooms -- at least those on the second floor -- are not very well insulated for sound, so as the crowds are walking and cars are driving by, its really noticeable during the day. And during the evenings, there is a night club across the street that gets started around 9:30 PM and doesn't stop until well after midnight. They have a super loud sound system, and in my room 232 this was really disturbing. Many people aren't sensitive to noise but if you are, then it may take a while to find a quiet room. Fortunately the hotel staff was quite cooperative. My review would be five stars all the way if not for the noise...
Great location, wonderful staff, loved the lobby & bar especially the live music Saturday night, and the bed was cozy.
The room was meh. The laminate flooring was lifting, the shower was really gross and dingy, and overall the room needs a major refresh . Bottom line it was a perfectly ok room for a $300 night price tag, but for $600 a night I expected it be nicer.
The Andaz Hyatt is a wonderful hotel. It is centrally located in downtown Napa, making it very convenient even without a vehicle. The staff are very attentive. Special shout-out to LaMika Hughes, Director of Guest Services, who was very accommodating, professional and friendly. As first time visitors, she provided us with many suggested places to visit and experience. The breakfast menu is delicious, and Miguel provided friendly and prompt food service. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Very walkable
Our soaking tub leaked
Premium location and fun vibe. Staff goes above and beyond. Enjoyed the live music in the lobby and enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant
