La posizione è ottima e la struttura è buona nell'insieme. Camera pulita e buone proposte il pomeriggio di snak e scaldamani.
Durante il check-in abbiamo riscontrato numerosi problemi e, nonostante le difficoltà, non abbiamo ricevuto alcun tipo di supporto da parte del personale. L’atteggiamento riscontrato è stato di totale disinteresse e mancanza di disponibilità nel cercare una soluzione o venirci incontro.
Desidero inoltre sottolineare che in fase di prenotazione non era indicato in alcun modo che venisse accettata esclusivamente una sola carta di pagamento, obbligatoriamente la stessa utilizzata per la prenotazione, né che non fosse possibile suddividere il pagamento su due carte. Questa informazione, fondamentale, ci è stata comunicata solo al momento del check-in, causandoci notevoli disagi.
Ritengo tale mancanza di trasparenza e di assistenza non conforme al livello di servizio atteso e resto in attesa di un vostro riscontro in merito.

Great location to major tourist attractions
I didn't like the part of pushy sales tactics for timeshares then I have zero interest in. They tell you it's a free gift etc but nothing in this world is free
The property is in an excellent location with a very friendly, accommodating staff.
I only have one complaint. The leather headboard in the room was torn on both beds, diminishing the appearance of the room. As a business person, I thought it was a shame, because the rest of the experience was perfect, so it kind of of makes you ask, why?

Location
The room was quite small. There was scaffolding in front of our window. Unavoidable I realize, but we still had to pay full price ? After a long day of which we were tired, then on arrival we were bombarded with a sales pitch for time share from Marriot Hotels

Sales tactics
Great location. The rooms are small but very stylish, modern and clean. The rooftop bar with views of Empire State is an absolute highlight.
Breakfast is very basic and expensive. Bar food is also very limited and only geared to cocktails/snacking. Not great for feeding family, but plenty of options outside given location once we got our bearings. Hotel Concierge only interested in promoting Marriott and selling you property.
Staff at reception have no access to the reservations system to make changes on reservations etc. (We had an extra family member joining at short notice).
Scaffolding blocked my view. Paid for a city view however we were only on the 10th out of 20 floors. View was blocked by scaffolding on the building
The spot
We had a problem with the payment and they charged me twice. Booking and at the hotel. I need either refund
Overall loved the property. Staff was incredibly nice. The concierge can be overwhelming when you first walk through the door, but all it takes is to tell them you're not interested in a sales pitch and it's not a hassle. We didn't stay in Midtown so we could spend our vacation inside, so size of room didn't bother us a bit. It's small, but it's Manhattan. We could see the ESB from our room!
Rooftop bar has amazing vibe and view of ESB, but drinks are crazy over-priced. Not worth going back for people staying there, IMO. Which is disappointing considering the rare view. Otherwise, no complaints.
