Staff was helpful and kind
We stayed for a snowstorm so that we could be closer to work.
We ended up not being able to get to work one day, the storm was easy worse than anticipated and plows couldn't keep up, we were very grateful for the hot breakfast.
Wi-Fi was probably the best I've ever had in a hotel. It's still wasn't able to keep up with a video call with my sister so I switch back to data. But other than that it was good. I bet on a usual day it would have been way better, but a lot of people were stuck due to the storm, using it.

MistFire came into town for the GenZ Battle of the Bands and it was such a wonderful experience!
Pros:

Great experience there in Asheville. There was such a welcoming host there at the Brookstone lodge.

Cons:

A longer stay. We wish we’d taken more time to see the town.

It was a good price for convience

Cons:

It was supposed to be a no smoking property but our floor we stayed on smelled like weed. The breakfast wasn't that great. No meat, just gravy

Parking lot was pretty treacherous for walking after the snow on Jan 31. Did not appear to have been scraped at all. Car did fine but walking was scary.

Our needs were met
Pros:

Just spent one night, but my family was quite satisfied with facility. Clean and maintained. I feel walls were not quite noise cancelling as I prefer. Breakfast was good and food was kept stocked.

Cons:

A bit noisier than I prefer but that is probably because rooms have LVP instead of carpet, which I totally understand.

Pros:

Close to attractions.

Cons:

The pool was out of order-we called several days prior to check on this. Understandably things happen, but kids were sorely disappointed. Less that spotless. Old furniture, our son commented that he was “sleeping on springs” on the fold out couch-and he was.

It was OK except breakfast spoiled a lot of my experience
Cons:

The breakfast was a joke. They shouldn’t even bother. The coffee was out of my machine. The simulated eggs were awful cheap is one thing, but that is ridiculous.
