It was clean and had a good breakfast and an indoor pool. Staff was very friendly.
Needs more parking
The location and pretty decent view.
There was a weed smell on the second floor and I am allergic to weed. And the sausage gravy was very salty.
Nothing.
Sliding barn doors on a bathroom…
It smelled like smoke as we walked in. They said they would give me a refund. I had to leave because of asthma. I never got my refund.
Pretty much everything
My room was a little small but not a deal breaker
Everything n the front desk was very pleasant n informative. The bed was very comfortable n cozy. The room wasn't real big but very clean.
There were only 2 things that were a concern. The shower was very slippery, n the guest traffic heard from the floor above was very loud especially since it started at about 4:30 a.m. n was constant until I checked out at 6:30 a.m.
Although the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel has many issues. Upon checking in late Friday night, several sketchy people standing against a wall just staring. Parking is an issue as well. Upon entering the hotel, people were smoking by the door, you had to hold your breath to walk in. Friday night, people above us were running up and down the hallway for an hour. At 11:30p Saturday we were woken by a car doing donuts in front of the entrance, this went in for 15 minutes! Sunday morning at check out, I inquired about this, nonchalanty, we were told they were grieving a death in the family 😳 no apologies, whatsoever. There was also fighting in the early hours. The breakfast was a joke! No sausage or eggs, forks were gone. There are too many choices of Asheville hotels, to put up with this nonsense. If you want a good nights sleep, don't stay here.
Staff was helpful and kind
We stayed for a snowstorm so that we could be closer to work.
We ended up not being able to get to work one day, the storm was easy worse than anticipated and plows couldn't keep up, we were very grateful for the hot breakfast.
Wi-Fi was probably the best I've ever had in a hotel. It's still wasn't able to keep up with a video call with my sister so I switch back to data. But other than that it was good. I bet on a usual day it would have been way better, but a lot of people were stuck due to the storm, using it.
The bed was very comfortable
The breakfast was a disappointment
