Pros:

Comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of Birmingham New Street station.
Excellent shower. Very good breakfast. Nice lounge area for relaxing.

Don’t judge this hotel by the area - much nicer hotel than area initially indicates
Pros:

Really good value modern hotel with some nice design features. Small lobby bar doubles as the check-in and nice area to relax on its mezzanine floor which doubles as breakfast room. There are two convenience stores right next door and they have no problem with you bringing in your own food. It is very much B&B & does it well, really clean & functional. Location is within an eight minute walk to Birmingham’s canals (which have pubs, rests, & tours) & same distance to railway station, main shopping centre & The Bullring.

Cons:

The location looks very rough & run-down & seems to a bit industrial & scary initially. But it’s actually deceptive, you’re quickly at shops & canals within 8-min walk. If I was a single female traveller I’m not sure I’d walk in this area unaccompanied but for anyone else it’s fine.

Best of the value hotels I've stayed in in Birmingham so far.
Pros:

A great find. Loved the location on the edge of Chinatown for eating out in the evening and an easy walk into the centre. Large, clean, comfortable room and a super breakfast. Will definately stay here again on my next visit.

Pros:

Central location. Good facilities. Great staff, especially Harry who was very helpful allowing us to check in early as the room was ready.

Clean rooms - even inside of kettle was spotless. Great location, few minutes walk from Gas Light Basin. Friendly staff: reception, housekeeping and breakfast room. Exceptional breakfast

Impressive.
Pros:

Modern and well maintained building and facilities. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. Double glazing and aircon so I did not heard anything from the street below. I have great nights sleep and the breakfast buffet was had gluten free options. In a great location, near railway station, Bullring shopping centre and night life. On the first floor there were vending machines with a great selections of drinks and snacks - healthier ones too.

Cons:

The hotel was perfect, just the area outside the hotel wasn't great to walk around at night.

Pros:

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast. They had soy and almond milk! The power in my room suddenly turned off, I went down to reception and it got fixed in 10-15 minutes.

Cons:

Woulf love if there was some hearty veggie option to put on your bread. The doors do slam if not closed properly and I definitely heard that at night. It got quite noisey.
