Overall it was great.
Pros:

We requested a room with ocean view. We had a room with ocean view. Robert who works the front desk was really nice and accommodating. Check in and check out was easy. I would stay here again.

Cons:

One of the towels I used for my shower didn't smell clean. It was gross. That is my only negative feedback. The other towels were good, but it was gross using a towel that smelled like it was not clean.

Great place to stay in Galveston
Pros:

Was greeted upon arrival by desk clerk with a smile. He was super friendly and made sure to point out the free coffee and cinnamon rolls in the lobby. The room was clean and spacious for the three of us. The beds were super comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast. So many options to choose from and food was delicious. The breakfast room was kept clean and well stocked with the hot items. There was two attendants helping everyone and making sure the room was kept clean. My husband wasn't sure how to use the pancake machine and they gladly showed him how. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel
