Excellent, helpful staff. Very very clean! Good parking. Fair breakfast. Room 120-handicapped room. Bathroom door rotting and peeling. Shower floor extremely slippery. Baseboard off in room. Bed sheets poor quality and so thin you can read through them. Shower chair screws loose. This room is an accident waiting for a place to happen. But. It was very clean and great staff!
Older hotel that has many uodates and was very comfortable. The room was clean. We were missing shower supplies but that was corrected the next morning. We chose the location for ease of access and breakfast buffet to save time as we had very little time in town. The first morning there was only carbs for breakfast. The heating tray for eggs snd such was prepped but there was no food. I asked about this and was told "we didnt put any out" that did not make sense as this was a saturday morning. The front desk clerk was rude about it as well. The 2nd morning there was sausage, biscuits, and what appear to be a frozen mini sausage biscuits that tasted like cardboard. I expected better, hoped for better but it was just sad. The morning/afternoon saturday clerk was further rude when i was looking for a plastic spoon and found the door to the breakfast area cracked open and popped in to grab a spoon. Her reply "what are you doing?" And stormed at me, i said i needed a spoon and she just angrily pointed at the front desk where there had been NOBODY when i walked into the lobby or I would have asked. Just rude. All the clerks were very young ad were not able to answer many questions. Most were nice and polite but a few need a bit more experience in working withthe public. I would stay here again as it WAS clean, comfortable and easily accessible. I just wouldnt expect to be fed.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your Kilgore, Texas location from October 3 through October 5. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standards I expected based on your website and online listings.
Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floors were extremely dirty—so much so that walking barefoot left our feet black and sticky, including in the bathroom. The overall appearance of the property and staff was unprofessional, and the staff members did not seem friendly or approachable.
We were also very disappointed with the breakfast situation. Online photos and descriptions showed a full, appealing breakfast, but in reality there were only a few items available—dry toast, cereal, milk, and waffles. This was misleading and not what we expected when booking our stay.
Additionally, there were multiple maintenance issues. The ceiling appeared to have a leak, as both my sister and I felt water drops coming from above. The TV was unplugged in several areas, and even after reconnecting it, we found that only a few news channels were available—nothing suitable for children or families. In the dining area, the chair cushions were heavily stained and unclean, adding to the overall discomfort.
Lastly, at check-in, I was asked for a card to put on file but was not informed that a $100 charge would be placed on my account. Only after the transaction was processed was I told it would be refunded upon checkout. That la

We could not get the TV to work and front desk could not tell us how to get it working when we got off the elevator on the third floor. There was no AC in the hallway. It was so hot . the bathroom shower in the corner at the bottom had mold growing. When we went down to get breakfast, there was nothing The The coffee was water down. The apple juice was water down. There was no orange juice. The bread for toast was not fresh. There was only waffles and cereal. no meat, no eggs, nothing so I went to the front desk and waited, and some young girl came out of the back room and was dressed and looked like a hoodie shirt, not dress professionally and ripped up jeans this is supposed to represent Wyndham. I don’t think so. We’ve stayed at other Wyndham properties before was very unsatisfied with this one.
Check In was good. After that, not so much.
In the shower, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers were all empty. The TV did not have any regular TV channels (no ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, etc.). All it had were streaming services. The bathroom sink was clogged with something, so it didn’t drain. The breakfast was really minimal….but there were so few people staying there, I can understand. Overall…very disappointing.
Great, friendly and helpful staff and management. Rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel doesn’t have a fully functional water heater so if you shower when everyone else does, your shower may only be lukewarm. The girls at the front desk are so kind. They keep me coming back!

We had a number of hotels we could’ve choose from. We chose the Hampton Inn based on the brand name and the quality. This was easily the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in. Every ice machine was was out of order. The washer and dryers are out of water. There is a musty wet odor on every floor. The floor is weak and gave when you walked on it. I literally thought we were gonna fall through the third floor. This place needs major upgrades in Hampton Inn needs to distance themselves from this building.

Unfortunately the boiler broke so hot water wasn’t available in the guest rooms. The hotel offered us a refund so we could stay somewhere else. Since we were only staying one night, we made due with cold showers. Staff very friendly. Rooms good sized and beds comfortable.

The boiler was out for my two night stay, so there was no hot water for showers. Additionally, all the ice machines were out of service and there was no ice available at the front desk. Do I need to continue from here?

Loved the breakfast -- it was THE best free breakfast I've had at a hotel in long time.
Everything was extremely clean! And the showers were hot.
There were a few quirks. They were pretty stingy with the towels, refusing to give us enough for the number of people in our room. The air conditioner leaked, and the lock on the bathroom was broken. The wifi didn't work most of the time.
