Great stay
Pros:

Big and clean rooms . Nice and cozy and helpful staff .
Walking distance to the tram and Scot’s rail for easy travel . Near Tesco .

Cons:

Steps to the property so difficult to move heavy luggages.
Not so near to the old town touristy attractions area for comfortable walk because of slopes and uneven side walks.

Pros:

The location and it was very quiet.

Cons:

Shower drain wasn't working properly and it took two days, out of our 4, to get it fixed. Wouldn't move us to another room with a working shower because they said they were full. To us, it felt like it wasn't an urgent issue to them.

Très joli hôtel avec une grande chambre. Bien équipé et proche du Tram de Haymarket.

S’il y avait un petit défaut ça sera la literie un peu molle à notre goût. Mais ce n’est qu’un détail

Grundsätzlich waren wir zufrieden. Für einen Städtetrip, bei dem man sich eh nur zum schlafen und duschen im Zimmer aufh

Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage, direkt an der Tram und ScotRail Station.
Die Betten waren sehr bequem.
Das Frühstück war ausreichend, jedoch wäre etwas mehr Gemüse und Obst schön gewesen.

Cons:

Gefühlt hat alles gewackelt. Das Bettgestell, der Wasserhahn, dir Lampen an der Wand…

Es hätte etwas sauberer sein können.

Bei uns ist einmal die Dusche ausgefallen, leider wurde uns vorher nicht erklärt, wie man dieses Problem löst. Wir haben am Morgen einen Zettel an der Rezeption hinterlassen. Das Hotelpersonal hat diesen komplett ignoriert und als wir Abend zurück kamen ging sie immernoch nicht…
Mussten dann nochmal zur Rezeption gehen und da wurde mir dann erklärt, was zu machen ist…

Pleasant stay and very close by the city
Pros:

The location is very pleasant. It's roughly a 15 minute walk to the city's main street and any hop on hop off busses if you want to be touristy. The train station is a 5-10 min walk next to it. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Cons:

Lot of stairs. No elavator. This hotel is not suitable if you got a wheelchair or a lot of suitcases. Bed was okay but a bit on the hard side. So if that's your preference then that's okay. Our room lamp didn't work and the hand wash bowl in our bathroom + the toilet flushed both very slowly. Reported both and they said maintenance will check it. So hopefully it's fixed for the next visitor.

Pros:

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel... im Stil der alten Schotten.. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Betten waren bequem und im allgemeinen war das Zimmer goss und sauber.
Die Altstadt war zu Fuß in einer halben Stunde gut erreichbar.
Auch Busse und Bahn war in 5 Minuten erreichbar.
Frühstück ausreichend.
Man konnte zwischen Buffet und karte wählen.

Die Zeit war viel zu schnell vorbei
