Vangelis Hotel & Suites

Very good time there. The stuff was amazing in general, but if I had a name one - Peter the animator. Highly recommended..

It was our first time in Cyprus. We are more than happy with our decision for Protaras and especially for Vangelis.
The hotel ist not with direct access to the beach, but you only need to cross the road.
The whole team is extremely friendly. Their service and support was always at highest level.
Many thanks to Dheeraj, who is working at the reception. He made our holidays so comfortable. We will come again to Vangelis.

The location of this hotel is fantastic!!
The hotel did lack an atmosphere on a night due to the poor entertainment!
The pool entertainment was in need of some overhaul, sadly it was disappointing!
Rooms were excellent, but a few minor points. The shower door doesn’t close correctly and the floor ends up flooding! Nothing to prevent this, due to the massive shower head the doors have to open out over increasing the water onto the floor! The bathrooms are poorly lit, our had massive mould patches on the ceiling. Very disappointing but the rest of the room was excellent!
Value I think what it cost to go all inclusive was reasonable, but it was towards the end of the holiday season!
The al carte night was very good, staff very attentive and food was excellent!.
The normal restaurant and all inclusive food was good, breakfast was excellent. Lunch was just average, I think plenty of hot choices, salads, meat dishes but it was a little repetitive! The themed nights were much better, and the deserts were fabulous! The staff in the bar and restaurants work very hard.
We stayed opposite the main hotel in b block which was okay, it’s the quieter block!
Staff were excellent but everything was done through an app on your phone or QR code which was slightly annoying as you want to escape your phone when you’re away on holiday! So to look at the bar drinks you had to look on your phone or find out meal times, book a different restaurant. And when you booked into the hotel it was done by a QR code, this does not make the holiday experience a great start!. The reviews vary on this holiday but it was towards the end of the season. The main issue which many families was that no pool was heated, the pools were freezing and it was warmer to swim in the sea! The hotel began to loose the sun very early and by 1500 the full pool area was in shade which was disappointing! Despite some issues addressed above we had a nice stay away!

Hotel lovely and clean. Food was very typical of most all inclusive hotels.
We agree with others in that it's a shame the pool in in the shade for most of the afternoon.
Entertainment wasn't the best, and held in the corner of the pool area.
No hotel shop, and nowhere to get any food or snacks in the evening.

We really enjoyed our time here. The accommodation and the food were excellent.
The sea is only 5 minute walk away. The hotel is next to the walking street.
The staff was very nice.

Overall we were pleased with our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a wonderful seaview. Location is great, close to the sea and restaurants, shops. The breakfast was very good. Dinner on the other hand was unfortunately quite tastless several nights so that was a bit dissapponting.( I think you should stick to making greek/cypriotic food instead of mixing other themes. ) Desserts were great at dinner! 18.30 for us traveling with children was also a bit too late for dinner, you should open dinner at 18 since you are a family hotel. The pool was very cold so our children didn’t swim as much as they had hoped. Overall I would recommend your hotel but I dont think we will go back considering very cold pool and food that didnt quite live up to our expectations.

Nice hotel but the lady at kids club doesn't want to be there. Sits on phone all day. Doesn't even welcome kids on arrival, Hotel should swap the staff around so it's not always the same person running kids club. No kids want to go otherwise and numbers are so low it's practically non existent, which is a shame as it has great potential.
Block 4 is supposed to be quiet but we could still hear music from live bars on strip.

The location is perfect, the staff the friendliest you’ve ever seen and met. The rooms are nice, clean and spacey! That being said, the space / number of seats near the stage area is about 25% of what is should be. More often than not the space was crowded as well as the other seating spots. The food is ok, nothing fancy but decent. For some reason, every dish needs a few kilograms of koriander. The atmosphere in the hotel is nice due to the ever friendly staff. As far as drinks go, the percentage of things not included in the all inclusive are laughable. Just one local whisky included, all others require cash. Bartenders work hard though.

We have been a few times before and love it perfect position for night life buses food lovely staff really lovely perfect holiday for families and if you want an adult only pool they got one a real gem I would recommend we keep going back every year and I sure you would do the same if you give it a try

Of all the vacations, I loved the massage the most! Irina gives a wonderful massage that's relaxing and helps you recover! I highly recommend it.

Visited this hotel in September and what a dissapointment it was. Apart form the location being central thats it. Food was poor. Certinly wouldnt rate this hotel as a 4 star.

The Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town. The food was very good, the best we’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive Hotel. All the staff were amazing, always friendly and willing to help. The facilities and cleanliness of the hotel were also to a high standard. The main pool area could get a little noisy mid day as there were a lot of children there. However there is a very nice separate adult only area with swimming pool, bar and sun-beds.

The best back massage ! Thank you Irina. The spa is clean ans beaitiful, recommend to visit for everyone. Fall in love with this hotel

This was our second stay at the Vangelis. First and foremost, the staff are incredibly professional, polite, accommodating, and friendly. I am continually impressed with every interaction I've had.

The venue space is clean! They have a literal army of staff that are continually cleaning everything from the driveways to glass..
Seemingly nonstop!

Last but certainly not least - the "continental breakfast." Outstanding food options that cater to an international clientele. We like to wake up early just to get to breakfast!

Location of the hotel itself is smack dab in the middle of everything; very walkable location, and easily in range of shops, pharmacy, general store, multiple excellent restaurants and of course...the beach.

Lovely hotel in central location for the strip and all the bars and restaurants. Rooms lovely and modern and kept really clean. Only problem we had was that the lighting is far too dim in the bedroom and bathroom, especially for us ladies needing to do hair and put makeup on after dark, which was around 6pm in October (luckily I always take a bright plug in bulb with me on holiday now as lots of hotel rooms have really bad lighting). We were B&B and the breakfast was good/satisfactory but heard some feedback from other guests that the lunch and dinners on the All Inc was not good at all so glad we chose to eat out at night.

Very good location, staff and food! I really liked everything. good atmosphere, very VERY clean rooms and everything around.

A good choice for families. We went full board which was great for the children. Personally too much food & drink! Walking distance to main strip and beach but beaches get very busy even at end of season. Two beach beds and umbrella 7.5€. Very reasonable compared to other beaches visited in Europe.

The hotel was great, we enjoyed staying there, great swimming pool for kids and adults. Besides, perfect SPA and massage from Irina, it was incredible! Thank you!
