The room - the beddings and mattress for one of the neds needed to be changed as there was some dirt or stain

The room -carries a heavy, woody musk — the kind that clings to old furniture and forgotten corners.

The dining service operates within a short window of 5:30 to 7:30 pm, but this wasn’t communicated to us at check‑in. As a result, we arrived after the service had ended and found that the buffet had already been cleared and the dining area was being cleaned.
We genuinely appreciate the manager’s gesture in offering complimentary alternatives such as pizza, salad, and poutine. However, we were hoping to experience the dinner buffet, as it was one of the highlights we were looking forward to during our stay.

Cons:

They sell frozen items but they are not ready to cook it for us, that's the only drawback of resort other than that every thing is perfect especially the staff in go market is so friendly and adorable

Great place, but eat elsewhere
Pros:

This resort is really nice. Ive only been in the shoulder season, so its quiet and you have alot of the amenities to yourself. I imagine in the summer its flooded with families.

Cons:

The restaurant on site is overpriced and NOT good. Like at all. Tried it both times ive been here, both times awful and expensive AF.

Improve your facilities
Pros:

This was a perfect place for a quiet time and at a beautiful lake.

Cons:

The rooms need serious maintenance, the beds were not comfortable, multiple small pillows and none are standard.
The resort could do better in attending to guest needs: as we called for AV remote but they ignored it as I don't know if we were expected to bring one with us!!

We did enjoy ourselves. The leaves were beautiful, which is what we came to see I’d like to room

Breakfast was good!!

Cons:

We think my sister got food poisoning from the lunch we had on Tuesday at the buffet!!
The bed in our room was way too tall. I have issues with my leg, so it was hard to get up onto the bed. There was a big nice television, but no stations that we were interested in. We wanted to relax with a good movie. Some of the stations seem to be all American news and the ones that were global their lips didn’t go with their talking so the TV was disappointing. I think If there was more things to do in the evening, maybe some entertainment or even a big bonfire you had a lovely fire pit there!!

Pros:

The resort was clean and comfortable. The cottage we stayed in looked newly renovated. The only thing I did not like was the door into our rooms looked like it had been broken into previously and not changed.
