Less than 2 hours from Toronto, property was right on the lake. Lots of activities for children as well as teens - large bouncy play structure in the lake, indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor sports, good evening entertainment and very friendly staff. Dining room is great - lots of choices with vegetarian and fish options at every meal.
Train track runs just along the road beside the property, wasn’t terribly annoying but not as peaceful as one would hope a country week end to be. Also some of the indoor areas - indoor playground; exercise room, game room are a little musty.
Beautiful property located on a beachfront of Sparrow lake. I love the fact that all water activities are included (canoeing/kayaking/stand up paddle boarding). The meal plan was very convenient and was very good - breakfast and lunch buffets and dinner menu were excellent.
Dinner buffet for kids should be improved in terms of food quality and variety.
Location is good
The restaurant was terrible. During the last half hour of breakfast service, almost nothing was left on the tables, and they didn’t even charge the food properly. I paid $200 for six people, which was definitely not worth it considering the poor selection and service.

Too much weed/plants in the water by the beach. Not resort’s fault but water is not that great.
Fantastic property! Beach is lovely, lots of chairs and umbrellas, the floating trampoline etc. in the lake is so much fun. Towel cards for beach towels provided, life jackets for all family members provided. The pool is lovely and very warm (heated). The grounds are beautiful. Our room (310) two queen hotel room, was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant and meal plan were wonderful, we really wanted for nothing, it was a fantastic trip, will be back next year! Johnny at the front desk was wonderful and extremely helpful! Thanks!

It’s very run down, kinda on the cusp of bankruptcy feeling.
Beautiful setting...nice beach..pool ..games etc room was ok with great veranda to sit out first thing in morning till evening
The seating inside wasn't the most comfortable..we were missing alot of light bulbs..and the staff didn't seem to have any answers to our questions

Location was great. Everything was perfect except for the trains in the middle of the night. 😂Totally out of your control and not a big deal I was just looking for something to criticize! We didn’t use the restaurant but it looked lovely.
It was beautiful, everything close by without feeling like being on top of each other. I like how it's both a romantic getaway and a family vacation spot.

Dinner was great overlooking the lake. Service was great.
Breakfast was disappointing for the price.
The room was very modern, clean, and the bed was comfortable. They had bikes for kids and adults, along with rackets, balls, and beach toys available to use. The indoor playground was especially convenient for rainy days. The restaurant had a beautiful view, and the food and breakfast were fresh and delicious. I am very happy with my stay in the early Spring.
The showers in the indoor pool area need improvement. Poor cleaning.
