Categories

Cleanliness
9.4
Multiple reviewers explicitly praised clean rooms and overall hotel cleanliness (e.g., 'Clean room', 'cleanliness'), indicating a consistently high standard.
Service
9
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, professional and helpful with quick responses to requests (extra pillow). One notable negative: a maintenance request (toilet) took over 30 minutes and there is reportedly no scheduled maintenance on weekends.
Location
9.3
Location praised as quiet and ideal (outside the city, good parking); several guests noted the tranquil setting and convenient placement.
Room Quality
9.4
Rooms noted as spacious and very comfortable with extremely comfortable beds; minor comment that decor felt slightly cold for some guests.
Amenities
9.1
Large pool and hot tub repeatedly praised and well-maintained; breakfast offerings strong. Some amenity gaps noted (no in-room coffee makers by default, lack of suites with whirlpools, occasional confusion with TV channel guide).
Value for Money
8.3
Mixed sentiment: most guests found the stay very good and would return, but some complained the price felt high and one guest referenced a payment dispute via a third party, lowering perceived value.
Food and Beverage
9.6
Breakfast repeatedly described as excellent/continental with a good selection and 'amazing' offerings, a consistently strong point in reviews.
Overall Experience
8.7
Overall very positive with many guests stating they would stay again and praising quiet, comfortable rooms and helpful staff; a few operational issues (maintenance delay, pricing/payment concerns) tempered the perfect score.

Pros:

The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a good selection of foods.

Cons:

We had an issue with the toilet and it took over 30 minutes to get someone to help. We were told there is no scheduled maintenance person on site on the weekends. The person who came to take care of the problem told us she was on another floor taking care of a similar issue for another room.

Pros:

Rooms are great, very comfortable. Beds are extremely comfortable. Continental breakfast was amazing, and theres virtually no outside noise!

Cons:

Wish the rooms had coffee makers or hot water kettles. Had to ask the front desk for one. Thats my only minor issue, barely worth mentioning.

Pros:

I did not like having to pay you - booking.com twice because I made a mistake on weekends so no the room was not worth the $600 even if it was a very nice place and had anything to do with the site but with booking.com. I canceled booked and even the one night refund was not given. I will never use booking. Com again nor have anything good to say to anyone about your app

Our stay was most pleasant, and we will stay here again when we are in Mankato.
Pros:

Rooms were spacious and extremely quiet. Every staff member we interacted with was very professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and really quite nice. Parking was great, and the location of the hotel was ideal.

Cons:

If I had one quibble, it would have been nice to have a printed guide of the TV channels. The on-screen guide and way to access the channels was a little confusing and difficult to navigate. But, we eventually figured things out and it wasn't that big of a deal!
