W Matt behind the desk forever grateful
Pros:

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. After a long and exhausting curling tournament, we arrived around 1 AM completely drained and starving. We politely asked if there was any chance of getting something small like cereal, and Matt at the front desk went above and beyond anything we expected. Not only did he open up the breakfast area for us, but he also brought out cheese sticks, sausage sticks, and chips with salsa. It was easily the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel.

The next night, after another long day (and some time relaxing in the hot tub), we came down to the lobby around 11 PM. Matt was working again and surprised us by bringing out some leftover food. That simple act honestly made my day.

It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about guests the way he does. The service here is spectacular, and Matt is a huge part of that. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Inhospitable Hotel in the Hospitality Business
Pros:

Repeat customer, booked consecutive nights April 9 for cash and April 10 om points (Gold member). Called to have same room allocated to avoid moving and save them a housekeeping visit. Duty Manager on April 7 said "Nope, gotta call corporate office, so we did. Corporate said that was 'Nonsense". WOW. For a business in the hospitality industry they sure are inhospitable. We understand a 'Get Lost' message when we hear one, so cancelled both reservations and booked another commpetitor hotel, which was happy to have the business. Avoid this overpriced joint with nasty staff

Pros:

Excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room complete with fireplace. Eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravey, waffles, cereal, great bread. All on real plates and silverware!
Comfortable bed, nice blackout curtains.
Nice, well maintained pool and hot tub.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

Caffeinated tea choices were slim.
Room fridge slid around in the cupboard a lot. Somewhat difficult to open.

Clean and comfortabe with a good breakfast.
Pros:

Breakfast was great! The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was even comfortable!

Cons:

A warm comfortable space for smokers would be nice. For those of us who still smoke it's starting to feel a little prejudiced and unwelcoming.

Nice place, comfortable.
Pros:

Well maintained, nice decor. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Hot tub was nice. There was a local cranberry, wild rice bread at breakfast that was wonderful. Nice touch.

Cons:

The check in attendant could have been more welcoming, although he was efficient. It was a bit spendy for a smaller market. That being said, we’d stay again.
