Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel

Our stay at the Goldenhorn was very enjoyable! It is conveniently located next to all of the main attractions and the restaurants we went to that were nearby. We’re all delicious! The staff at the hotel was so kind and hospitable. When it was time to leave they made sure to arrange our taxi ride to the airport And made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good and sitting on the terrace with the view of Hagia Sophia and the blue mosquewas priceless!

I spent one night here on a layover and I was so pleased. It’s gorgeous with a great and caring staff. The location is perfect. The views are spectacular and it was so comfortable. Will be back

Overall it was an ok stay (we stayed for 6 nights, first time in Istanbul). Staff was friendly and helpful, location is good and close to historic sites.

That's where it fall short of my expectations:
- rooms look much nicer on the photos, not as impressive in person
- breakfast lacks variety - salad/cheese/tea/coffee were ok, hot dishes were very limited (not much to choose from so most of us were skipping them most of the times)

Overall this hotel has a great location and we had requested a room with view of the mosque. He gave us that. Buffet breakfast was very good

Really nice place in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, 10 minutes from the Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar, but on a quiet street so no traffic noise. Good buffet breakfast, quiet hotel, comfy bed, lots of hot water and friendly attentive staff. Views from the breakfast terrace are unbelievable, across the mosque and out across the Bosphorus. What more do you need?

I like this hotel because it was non alcohol .

Rooms may be a bit small but with comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast at the terrace was excellent with magnificent views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the old town. The waiters there are very helpful and they took me many photos with the views. The area is safe, you can easily walk to the main attractions.

I am not sure if it's just how it is in Istanbul, as most things here were very expensive despite being low quality, but given how expensive this hotel is, it was underwhelming. The breakfast buffet was very mediocre (for example, no toaster for all the untoasted bread), the rooms were ok but had an old dirty carpet, and the toilet had a very noisy fan. Can't compare to other hotels in the city, but compared to the standard you get for example in Asia, this wasn't worth what you paid.

Amazing staff. We stayed this fall and had the. Best experience. Second half or our trip We switch to Double Tree Hilton downtown, which was a big disappointment.

Overall excellent experience, really prime location as everything is pretty much walking distance such as hagia sofia, blue mosque, topkapi palace, basilica cistern. Metro station is not more than 2 mins walk which is a plus if youre looking to travel to places such as grand bazar dilmabache palace etc. you can get a istanbul pass from kiosks (150 lira) and charge it to be able to use it on the metro

Very good location, close to grand bazar, walking distance to metro station , friendly staff ,Mr mosa in reciption was very helpful and polite, roof top breakfast was fantastic and tasty food but breakfast supervisor behaviour was unprofessional (one day I took a small piece of cake to eat on my way he quickly approached to me and with very rude manner said look; there is a camera here you are not allowed to take it outside the restaurant 🤔very unprofessional behaviour)I believe he needs more training, otherwise all other staff were very nice and dutiful,totally we had a great time in golden horn hotel and it was fantastic 🙏
