Sorry to say that my stay in this place was not pleasant.Bathroom towels were dirty, called to the front desk , guy asked why?what? then said i will ask someone to bring clean towels ,waited 30 mts no one showed up ,said everyone leaves after 4.30 pm.After i insisted on getting clean towels a lady brought couple clean towels .No bottle water in room.Breakfast was cold , end up microwaving .I stayed out of country in HGI, EXCELLENT ,that's why i booked it in NJ.

I stayed here on August 16, 2026 on business, as a Gold member with a meeting nearby the following morning. I want to be fair: the room was clean and the location works well for anyone with business in the area or heading into Manhattan. My issue is entirely with how the property handles a problem once you raise one.

The premium in-room snack and beverage amenity that came with my rate was not in the room when I arrived. That has now happened on several stays here, so I no longer read it as an accident. The items were brought up around 5:30 PM after I raised it at the front desk.

I asked to speak with the General Manager. I was told no upper management was on the property and offered only an extension to call the following day — after I would have already checked out. The front desk gave me an email address for management that bounced back, and then a corrected one that turned out to be a shared catch-all inbox rather than an actual manager. A third address was offered with no explanation of who it belonged to.

What decided this review: a staff member approached me and, over one conversation, asked six separate times whether she could book me into a different hotel. I had asked to speak with a manager. I had not asked to leave, and said so. Being repeatedly encouraged to go elsewhere rather than having the issue addressed is the part I'd want another business traveler to know about before booking.

If you need a bed near the GW Bridge for a night, it will do. If you might need a manager, plan accordingly.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms were very clean.

My stay at this hotel was a complete disappointment due to the terrible condition of the room. As soon as I stepped inside, a strong, unpleasant odor hit me. The carpet had visible stains, suggesting the room wasn’t clean. The old mattresses and worn-out pillows made it impossible to get a comfortable night’s sleep. I only stayed there for one night on our way to Boston, but the poor state of the room completely ruined my entire stay. I do not recommend it.
