Location is ok, price was good on the night we stayed (Thursday), staff all friendly. Many thanks to Luke for arranging something for us. Also the friendly desk staff and the kind Eastern European lady who served us a late drink even though the bar was officially closed. Thanks

Cons:

We booked the hotel mainly because we wanted a swimming pool as a treat. Nowhere on the Booking.com advert does it say there is a £15 per room fee if you book the Standard Room. It’s only when you’ve done the booking you’re told this. I complained and brilliantly Luke arranged a pass for us.
Regarding the actual hotel, the pool and Spa is pretty tatty. The bedroom and public areas are ok, but things like the lift and door thresholds are grubby. Main entrance mat was grubby.

Cons:

Not enough pillows. When we requested extra, we were told hotel was fully booked and there were no spare pillows.

Brilliant hotel. You couldn’t find a better hotel for the price in Manchester.
Pros:

Staff were really friendly. Spotlessly clean room. So close to the railway station and shopping area. Exceptional good value

Pros:

Great location, easily accessible from either train station and not a long walk to the city centre. The facilities were good too.
