Solid, business property. Everyone happy to help. Comfortable rooms.
Okay for one night. But wouldn’t stay here longer. They try to set you up in a room in the basement/mezzanine. Unacceptable
Good
Oasis hotel was great. Located across from a street market and main road. Easy to call a cab or walk across the street to get food. The hotel was clean, stocked, and everything was functional. Mina at the front desk was very helpful. Actually, all the staff were very helpful. I did not have a car, so did not use parking, but there was a lot in the hotel rear with many spaces. I would stay here again.
The hotel is close to the old city. It is possible to walk to some important places. There are bus stop near the hotel . We didn't take a taxi. We took city buses for the whole trip.
Personale gentile.
Perfectly located near bus stops (13 from airport), the souq and to base your wanderings around the city with plenty of eating and coffee options nearby.
This was a good value option with comfortable bedroom and a tight but clean bathroom. Breakfast buffet was varied and satisfying.
Very pleasant staff made it a great stay.
1-The staff of the hotel were so friendly, professional, Kind and ready to help with any question.Even they helped with the luggage to the car, allowing extra time for check-out. Requested additional pillow and that the drapes be closed correctly; the housekeeping took care of that. I'm grateful.
2- The location is not as bad as it may look due to the construction. Easy walking to a big supermarket, the mubarakia souk, the grand mosque, and even Al Asima Mall.
3- bed was comfy.
4- they provide big bottles of water complementary, that very nice.
with a bit of care this hotel can be much better
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, well located in centre of Kuwait City, souks just around the corner.
Closer to shopping area
Great location, not quite sure why there’s so many negative reviews as the place is affordable and centrally located.
Yes the rooms aren’t 5*, but it has everything you need. The bed in my room was really comfy, the shower was hot and with good pressure and let’s face it anything else is a luxury!
Only “criticism” would be that as I was located on the front of the property the roads give off a bit of noise but it didn’t bother me too much. What did bother me was that the curtains didn’t fully close so I had to wear an eye mask.
Overall though I had a good stay and the hotel kindly arranged a taxi to meet me at the airport, even though I arranged it months in advance they fulfilled it. Great service.
Room was good.
Simple and friendly with helpful staff.
Niets is helaas minder waar.
Don’t be put off by the older reviews – the hotel was completely renovated in 2021 and the rooms are quite nice now.
While the hotel might not quite be an oasis, as the name suggests, it is a solid mid-range alternative in the very heart of Kuwait City, ideal for sightseeing and tourism. The souk, with numerous exchange offices, is just opposite the hotel and the main sights are within walking distance. There are several eateries and snack shops on the same block.
Ranjit, who checked me in, was friendly and helpful. The room was of average size for a three-star city hotel. Not big, but not cramped, either. It came with a comfortable queen bed, a desk, a coffee table and a chair as well as a safe, a fridge, three 0.5 L water bottles (replenished daily) and efficient A/C. There are sockets by the bed and desk, so charging your devices was easy, but bring an adapter as Kuwait uses the UK standard. The room was clean and tidy, and as it was newly renovated, it was in very good condition. I had a nice view of the roundabout and souk, but street noise was a problem, so bring earplugs (and an eyemask as the curtains won’t keep the room fully dark). Wifi was easy to use, fast, free, unlimited and reliable. No password needed.
The bathroom felt older, but water pressure in the shower was very good and hot water ample. No bathtub. Amenities consisted of small bars of soap as well as wall-mounted containers of soap and shampoo. The maid has additional amenities available on request, such as shaving kits etc.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 10th floor 7:30–10, but I did not try it. Apparently the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner anymore.
A taxi from the airport took about 25 minutes and cost 8 KD. The hotel arranges airport transfers for 6 KD.
I paid 70 EUR/night, no breakfast included, and I believe the price was right for what I consider a good three-star hotel. I couldn’t have wished for more.
Sijainti on ihan hyvä kaupungin keskustassa sijaitsevan souqin yhdessä päässä.
I made reservations at oasis hotel Kuwait City
I was very bad choice because
Rooms very small
Old decoration
Looks like 2 stars hotel
Towels hireable
Poor internet connections
Poor tv satellite
No parking or hotel guests
Over priced
You need to order all extra likes katels
Hair dryer
Billows
I will not use or recommend these hotel to any one
The property is a old one. The bathrooms are very small. Rooms are fine though. The buffet breakfast is very poor. You will only get idli and cornflakes on a daily basis if you are a vegetarian. Though the hotel cost is way too high than the facilities provided.
The room service and cleaning department will give you a pleasant experience though.
