Hotel Santa Maria

The hotel is like a sanctuary very close to historic Rome. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Glad we took advantage of the breakfast and happy hour.

My wife and stayed for five nights. Right from the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome and special. The reception staff are excellent and very accommodating. All of the hotel staff, from the cleaners to breakfast and bar staff are very good at their jobs - friendly and professional. Like other reviewers, special mention for Kevin, who is excellent in the bar, his customer service goes above and beyond. Makes a great Apersol Spritz! The tasty free buffet on offer during the happy hour is a nice gesture.
The hotel Santa Maria is truly a hidden gem with plenty of rustic charm which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Hotel Santa Maria is the CUTEST boutique hotel nestled within the alley way of Trastevere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and Kevin (the bartender) was seriously the best! The breakfast and aperitifs were great! He gave us phenomenal service and we had so much fun! 10/10 would stay there again and highly recommend!

I just spent five nights at this beautiful little oasis in the heart Trastevere. I could not have been happier or more comfortable. A stunning, quiet, haven from the August heat with cool aspect and orange trees - it was an absolute pleasure!!
It would be unfair to single out staff members by name because everyone from the reception staff to those who served the complimentary breakfast (and the delicious cocktails), to those who kept the rooms and grounds clean and fresh were super friendly, helpful, kind and considerate. I send them all my heartfelt thanks and best wishes - and I really hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Excellent location, staff, apetitivo

It is gated and secure. Has lovely open garden areas to sit. Staff were all warm and friendly and helpful. Breakfast had everything you could want and a barista too. Room had everything I needed with plenty of space

This is the best kept little secret in the whole of Trastevere. A beautiful little hotel with the friendliest of staff, all ever so helpful and attentive. To arrive in the heat of summer, and be able to enjoy the happy hour from the bar, and the free canapes, such a joy!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Santa Maria, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and full of character, with a lovely courtyard that makes it feel like a hidden oasis in the heart of Trastevere.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Rome, with many restaurants, cafés, and attractions within walking distance.

As a traveler, I truly appreciated the warm atmosphere and the excellent hospitality. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every moment of our stay. I would highly recommend Hotel Santa Maria to couples looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Rome, and we would definitely return.
