Hotel Santa Maria

I had the most incredible stay at Hotel Santa Maria, and I can honestly say it was the people who made this experience so unforgettable.

A very special thank you to Adriano at the front desk, who always greeted me with a warm smile and went above and beyond to help with directions, dinner recommendations, and reservations. He truly made me feel like part of the family.

I’d also like to recognize Armando, who was incredibly helpful with arranging taxis and guiding me around the city, and Francesca, who always had a huge smile and made sure everything was perfectly set—especially when helping me arrange my taxi to the airport.

Thank you as well to Alessandro for the warm greetings in the evenings—it was always so nice to come back to such a welcoming atmosphere.

A heartfelt thank you to Norman for the many cappuccinos he prepared for me, each one topped with the cutest little messages that made me feel so special every single morning.

Shout out to Cristian and Merito for making sure I had everything I needed at breakfast—they were attentive, kind, and truly wonderful.

And to Kevin at the bar, thank you for the delicious limoncello and for making me feel completely at home.

The hotel itself is spotless, charming, and perfectly located in the heart of Trastevere, where the nightlife is lively and full of energy every night.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel, but most of all, I loved the staff. Thank you all immensely for making my stay so special—I already miss you and will definitely be back very soon!

What a lovely location to land in the Eternal City. The rooms, the service, and the location are all without compare. It's like a little oasis in the heart of the lively and vibrant Trastevere neighborhood. Rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the included breakfast and happy hour are lovely amenities. The staff stand ready to assist with anything you might need. We can't wait to return!

La distribución de las habitaciones alrededor de un patio en el medio del Trastevere crean un oasis insuperable. Especial para descansar al final de ma tarde de las caminatas a que Roma obliga y antes de disfrutar la cena en alguna de las numerosas opciones a solo die pasos.. Alt. Simpelthen det absolut bedste sted, jeg nogensinde har overnattet. Personalet fik os til at føle os hjemme fra det sekund, vi trådte ind på hotellet, og omgivelserne var de smukkeste, jeg længe har set.
Har intet dårligt at sige om stedet. Skøn, lille oase midt i Trastevere. Wauw!

Die Lage ist super, es sind alle wichtigen Orte Roms gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend und immer für ein kurzes Gespräch zuhaben.

Meget charmerende atmosfære, der er skønt og hyggeligt over alt.
Personalet er meget hjælpsomme, da vi ankom hjalp de os med det samme med at få overblik over byen.
Placeringen er perfekt, hotellet ligger lige midt i et område med masser af restauranter og det er meget trygt, at gå rundt om aftenen og natten. Selvom hotellet ligger super centralt, ligger det trukket lidt tilbage fra byens larm og man kan derfor sove i ro.
Det helt perfekte sted for voksne mennesker der ønsker at være tæt på restauranter og samtidig bo meget charmerende i ro og mag.
Personalet var venlige, opmærksomme og man fik en fornemmelse af at de var stolte af deres hotel.
Morgenmad og bar fungerer ligeledes perfekt.
Vi kommer uden tvivl igen :-)

Look no further than Hotel Santa Maria for your next visit to Rome. We were fortunate to stay her for 4 nights with our 2 teen sons and it was such an enjoyable stay. The flowers, trees, and landscaping are perfect and was a nice touch of beauty to come back to every day. The terrace was quiet and relaxing to spend an hour or so just soaking in the Roman sun. One of the cats kept finding our daughter and they bonded. The front desk staff is very helpful and gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations right around the corner. They also helped with ordering taxis for our stay. The breakfast room was a great addition for a morning treat and the specialized cappuccino from Norman was the nicest touch! If you choose to stay here, you will LOVE it! We hope to return one day!!!

This hotel really shines! It felt like coming home after long days out viewing the town. Their customer service is fantastic, shout out to Armando/Arturo who gave us recommendations for great food, booked us taxis and just made sure we were happy and comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight every morning. The location is the best, highly recommend!

Best hotel ever. I came here with my parents on their 20th wedding anniversary and it was amazing. Quiet like you're 10 streets back when you're actually only 1 and the staff are amazing and friendly all the time. Breakfast is great, with a buffet of eggs, sausages, bacon, cereal, cheese, pastrys and cake. Rooms are large and clean, only a short walk from amazing restaurants like ristorante da massi and taverna 51. Also gelato places to go to are il gelato and Santa Maria gelateria. A must for staying in rome.
