Pros:

Truly Awful. The swimming pool was like a large bath with a wall around it, the breakfast a piece of cheese, salami or ham, and stale bread. Neither the orange juice nor coffee were fresh. The parking was an extra Euro15 per night, and the manager was quite surly. A two star hotel, at best

Tolle Aussicht aber im großen und Ganzen nicht zu empfehlen.

Nettes Personal, tolle Aussicht und schnelle Erreichbarkeit des Strands.

Cons:

Sehr kleines Zimmer, auch waren die schränke mit Limonade oder einer anderen Flüssigkeit verschmiert,
Sehr stark abgenutztes Interieur.
Abendessen war leider auch sehr enttäuschend, das Frühstücksbuffet hatte nichts mit dem zutun was auf booking abgebildet ist, sehr kleine Auswahl und geschmacklich auch nicht überzeugend.

Breakfast was not up to standard. Not much choice, the last day of stay, coffee machine and juice machine were turned off and the cakes were dry and old from previous day. This was may be not many people around. Avoid the breakfast at the hotel.

Pessíma e aconselho a não irem neste hotel.
Pros:

A unica coisa boa do hotel é a vista da praça a frente do hotel, e não digo do hotel pois nossa vista era de um predio lateral.

Cons:

Localização péssima, mais de 45 min para chegar ao centro de onibus pois de taxi um custo absurdo tabelado de 55 euros no minimo, cafe da manhã pessímo sem opções, wifi pessímo caindo a todo momento e necessitava reconectar manualmente, recepcionista pessímo se empatia e minima educação, não possui televisão e sim um monitor minusculo na parede que travava ao trocar de canais.

Enjoyable stay as a base for touring the Amalfi Drive and Capri
Pros:

This hotel has one of the most attractive locations in Sorrento, as the name suggests wonderful panoramic sea view and access via a public lift to a sandy beach and restaurants down below. Situated in Mate there are frequent buses to Sorrento itself but the location is otherwise quite remote.

We stayed in a sea view room which was large but rather old fashioned. The same applied to the restaurant, breakfast and dinner were included. You sit at the same table every night and order your dinner from a limited menu the preceding night. Service is friendly and with a sense of humour. Public areas are attractive and well maintained.

Work is ongoing outside the hotel to create a piazza looking out across the bay, a pleasant place to sit after the evening meal.

We are very dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel.
Every day, the air conditioning was switched off during the daytime. It seemed to be done purely to save money, which is unacceptable. We paid for our stay and expected to have access to basic amenities, including air conditioning, at all times.
We also experienced problems with hot water. On one occasion, we returned to the hotel earlier than usual and there was no hot water available for a shower. I had to go to reception and ask them to turn it on.
The most disturbing incident happened when we were in our room during the day. The air conditioning had been running normally, and suddenly we heard a knock on the door. Before we had a chance to respond, a member of staff entered the room without permission. She did not wait for us to say "come in." It seemed as though she assumed we were out and came to switch off the air conditioning. As an excuse, she brought a small bottle of water and claimed she had come to deliver it. One small bottle for two people, which nobody had requested, was clearly just a pretext for entering the room.
This was a serious invasion of our privacy and completely unprofessional behavior.
Overall, this was a terrible experience. The constant attempts to save money at guests' expense, the lack of hot water, and the staff entering our room without permission made our stay very unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.
